Prosecutor wants 5 more Khmer Rouge investigated

A prosecutor at Cambodia's Khmer Rouge tribunal has formally recommended that five more suspects be investigated for crimes against humanity and other offenses.

A statement issued by the tribunal Tuesday says the international co-prosecutor, William Smith of Australia. submitted his recommendation to the co-investigating judges who will decide whether to issue arrest warrants.

Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen has repeatedly spoken out against expanding the list of defendants beyond the one now on trial and four others in custody. On Monday he said that indicting more people could lead to a civil war, a claim dismissed by his critics who suggest he is just trying to protect his political allies.

Where was the Human Right? Where were the UN and US? Where was the World compassion? Where was God? Where were you when we need you during the KR regime? I was there and watched the innocent Cambodian dying. I had only the questions without answers. How come the UN, US just show after the Vietnamese invaded and liberated the Cambodians from the bloody hand of Khmer Rouge?? Until now I still can not get the right answers.
