Troops To Stay Put During Thai Strife

Prime Minister Hun Sen on Monday appealed to Cambodian soldiers to limit operations while Thailand undergoes a new round of political instability.

Thai protesters have gathered in the tens of thousands in Bangkok to demand fresh elections, raising the possibility of further demonstrations and strikes.

“For the problem in Thailand, it’s the Thai people’s problem,” Hun Sen said, speaking at a graduation ceremony at the International Institute of Education.

“I also appeal for all Cambodian troops who are stationed along the border with Cambodia and Thailand, please have good cooperation with the Thai army and provincial governors of Thailand close to the border with Cambodia. If it’s not important, please do not mobilize the troops.”

Hun Sen said he wanted to avoid “misunderstandings from the Thai side,” adding, “I won’t allow Cambodian troops to cause any problem between Cambodia and Thailand.”

Chea Dara, the army commander in charge of front-line operations near Preah Vihear temple, said his troops remained stationed at the border and were prepared “to protect our territory.” However, he said, they would not be moving, as per Hun Sen’s order.

Hun Sen: If I were Abbasit, I would kill every domonstrator. This is Hun Sen, strong man of Cambodia.

People: Now it is time to stand up to fight dictatorship in Cambodia to promote real domocracy, human rights and real development and social justice. We must take back what we should have.

What a dumb Cambodian PM Hun Sen. He has nothing to worry about Thailand whatsoever but watch his dirty mouth before he start talking to anybody. I get tired of him talking in Khmer and make no sense. Please all Khmer in Cambodian need to stand up like Thailand and other country to kick a dictatorship like HUN SEN out of power now before him, his family and his gangster ruin your children and your future. Rise up all Khmer in Cambodia.

Hun Sen said to the graduation ceremony: If I were Abbasit, I would toss the grenades to kill every domonstrator as I did to my opponent on March 30, 1997, and ordered all forces shoot to kill until they are gone, very simple that is!

8:22AM, why don't you follow US troops in Afghanistan, maybe you can find human right violation there or you may call it casualty of war.
Every body know that Abbasit doesn't kill Thai he only order the soldiers to do the job for him like last time or you may call it laws and orders and they accidently shot the protesters.
The same thing happenned but if you use the right english you can make the action sound better or worse.
Do you think Thai is the best Democratic country in Asia ???? they have coup every two years or so, do you think it is a good thing for the country ??????

Thai soldiers have killed many of our khmer people in the 1980s. I remembered clearly, they dumped many of us on the mine fields and most of us got killed by these mines. They knew that we were the victims of genocide but they had no mercy for us, instead of helping us they oppressed against us. Now, there time is up, it is called "Karma" or "what goes around comes around" or " you do yourself a favour when you are kind but if you cruel, you only do it to yourself" proverbs, Wisdom

Between Abbasit and Hun Sen could be compared as haven and hell. Thai never kill it own people, unlike, Sihanouk, Pol Pot and Hun Sen of Cambodia, which is you can compare them to Hitler of Germany, but Hitler did not kill German, Hitler aimed at Jews only.

9:56 I am not sure that you are Thais or Cambodian, but Do you know how many Thai citizen are in jail right now ? The one who have been accued of being Red Thai (similar Red Kmere or KR). There are thousand of them but for you, if you don't know it meants it doesn't exist.
Thai gov. love to have you as a follower, the one who blindly trust the Gov. the same way KR love their farmer follower. They are loyal to the Gov. without question and do whatever they were told.
Democracy work best when the people question their Gov. on every thing they do, just like you ask your kids every things they do because you love them.

    TO 10:17AM,
You are a foolish Hun sen supporter. All thais citizen who are in jail are all drugs trafficking. Thais government has never jailed their citizen who have simply against their government. As 9:56AM said, only Sihanouk, pol pot and hun sen are killing their citizen for giving land to vietnam.
During Lon Nol regime, we have never seen Lon Nol killed his citizen. He was a most noble leader among all Khmer leaders.

    2;04pm.
Vietnamese is in English, in fact they are "Yue Nam", and in short of "Yue Nam" is Yu-on or Yuon in Khmer or Lao or Thai called the same.

"Yue Nam" means the people from South of China.
The reasons why "Yue Nam" don't want the world to know their origins that they were from South China. You heard, they accused everyone who called them "Yuon" is racist.
If you are Khmer Surin, then you have to know that Yuon have been hiding among Thai people living like real Thai people all over the place in Thailand. In fact Ho Chi Minh used to live in Bangkok.

Don't kill those innocence Khmers, because the real Yuon are already in Thailand causing troubles in Thailand non stop.

Most Khmers hate Hun Sen and that is why he has about at least 6000 body guards to keep him alive.
Khmers prefer Thaksin Shiwanatra as their Prime Minister and throw Hun Sen to crocodiles.

If Thais can protest against the dictatorial regime of Abhisit government, then Khmers should protest the same way against the dictatorial regime of Hun Sen regime in Cambodia.

This is a good lesson Khmers can learn to overthrow a dictatorial regime such as the current Hun Sen regime who only protect the few elite and foreigners in Cambodia.

Let's rise up together against the dictator Hun Sen now!

    KHMER Angkor.

In Democratic country, you go to the voting boot to get your voice heard not causing people unrest and Kos. If you don't like the Gov. you vote them off the next election. If you can't do it in the election it meants that you are the minority voice and excepted and live with it.
It is a secret ballot. If every body beleive the same thing as you do, then you will get your way. You use ballot to change not violent.
