I think I know this, Marin Meas. He was living in Long Beach way back in the 90's. We were part of the student organization called, "United Khmer Student of Southern California". We were among the officers for the student organization.
Based on my recollection, Marin did not seem to get along well with the rest. He was always appeared to show his lopside of ideas about the whole proposed issues. Personally, I do respect his rights and opinion of his political stance. However, it is crystal clear with the expression of his desparation to become a "CPP member". This is what I called a "Wind Blow Theory". He is fishing for opportunity. Growing up as an orphanage, he should think about the lives of his parents, relatives, friends, and the interest of the people and country, instead, he is using his little "Pho Houy Deiy" to try to buy his swivel chair in the CPP Admin.

I can understand the argument that he wants to contribute to the development of Cambodia, much like Vietnamese Americans have in their respective country. However, is it really the interest of CPP to raise Cambodia out of poverty or is it solely self interest?
Week after week we hear reports of land grabbing and corruption, yet the ruling government does nothing to curb this act. Coming from the PM mouth, he states that there is corruption, but he can't do anything to stop it. Can one still be confident in the ability of CPP if they can't control these critical issue, leaving many citizens homeless and in dire poverty.

There are many ways to help Cambodia. If anyone wants to join with the CPP and they should, with SRP they should.
It is ridiculous to think that only Cambodian engineers or doctors from the US can do the real job for Cambodia! Hun Sen has no money to send students out, but there are thousand of scholarships they can apply for. A few hundred students got scholarships and some got Engr. degrees but many didn't go back home. They were hired by foreign companies. Hope things will get better.
