In a declaration made to party councilors at a video conference from Paris held at the SRP party headquarter, Sam Rainsy declared: “We are very lucky that we were successful in forcing Vietnam to pull out of Cambodia.” He also added: “This is the first time in history that Vietnam is pushed out of Cambodia.”
At the same time, Sam Rainsy indicated that very soon, he will start visiting all the signatory countries of the 1991 Peace Agreements on Cambodia to report about the Vietnamese aggression in Cambodia.
The SRP indicated that its claim is backed up by several maps that it made available last month, and these maps showed that border posts no. 184, 185, 186 and 187 located in Samrong commune, Chantrea district, Svay Rieng province are located several hundred meters into Cambodian territories, and they are clearly shown on maps prepared by France and by the US.
Regarding this issue, Phay Siphan, the mouthpiece of the Council of Ministers rejected all these claims. Saying that the proof shown on the Google Earth map is not the correct map [KI-Media note: but Phay Siphan remained silent on the other two maps, is it by coincidence or because he couldn’t deny them?].

This is very good news and historical achievement and success for the nation. Sam Ransy should promote this success to all people. Rather than raising problem and issue, Sam Ransy should strategically identify its success and achievement to the nation.

common, let's don't be too arrogant or boastful about this. i mean, it is good to do the right thing and brought the attention to the nation and the world, however, be humble about it as people can see and judge for themselves without some individuals being too obnoxious and boastful about this or that, really! think about it. no everybody likes a self-praised, egotistical person, really!
ReplyDeleteThe court must prove that the border posts that Sam Ransy pulled out were illegal and must release the farmers and stop charging Sam Ransy. Sam Ransy must demand the court to prove if the border post were inside or in correct border line.
ReplyDeleteBy demand this will make more sense becuase it was the reason that Sam Rany pulled out because the post were inside Cambodia. Now the court must prove that the posts were in correct border line. If it can't prove, it must release the farmers and stop charging Sam ransy

ReplyDeleteIt's so obvious for criminal, they have never admitted their crime but at the same time, they always try to say or show something to cover up their crime and get public sympathy but no matter what they crying out, no one is going to believe or take criminal's word seriously.
As a convicted criminal, Xam RainXy has no right to demand anything at all let alone put any condition to the government. There are two options for Xam Rainxy to face with. Either comes to serve jail time (2 years) in Cambodia or stays as a coward and shameful in France.
Since Xam Rainxy has uprooting border markings, he is often said that he will take this border's issue to International Court, but so far, there is no International Court. Right now, through interview with Radio Free Asia, he is shameless mentioned about International Court again. When he will complaint to International Court?? As I am aware, International Court in Xam Rainxy's view could be in Beijing and the judge is former King Sihanouk.

"Yuon" is a Khmer term for the Vietnamese people who once lived in Yunnan province southern China. This term is not a racist term, just a term which was derived from where they were originated. It had been used by Khmer people for hundreds of years. In fact, the Thai word for the Vietnamese people is also call "Yuon" - "ญวน". On the contrary, the Vietnamese word for Khmer people is "Mien" which is a derogatory term meaning "barbarian"! So to say that "Yuon" is a racist term is totally misinformed and incorrect...
