The correspondences between prime minister Hun Sen and his critic are still continuing.

Mr. Say Bory, adviser of the former monarch, wrote a letter to prime minister Hun Sen saying: "I congratulate the reconciliation policy that Samdech is currently practicing, and your following of the opinion of His Majesty King Preah Baromneath Norodom Sihamoni in order to bring peace to the all the people. I very much regret on the past event."

However, Mr. Say Bory did not specify what past event it was.

In his response to Mr. Say Bory, Mr. Hun Sen wrote: "Your Excellency's congratulation on what I am doing and practicing, as well as Your Excellency's regret on the unacceptable past event allow me to understand Your Excellency's feelings."

Mr. Hun Sen added: "I will legally arrange to resolve Your Excellency's case with expediency, in particular, the request to the Phnom Penh municipal court to put to an end the arrest [warrant issued] against Your Excellency."
