Unofficial Translation from French by M.Preuk

Some senior Personalities of our famous “2nd Kingdom” recently said: “Under the government of the Lon Nol Regime (1970-1975), one is necessarily Lonnolian.” Bravo!!
Nevertheless, after the unjust, illegal, and anti-constitutional putsch [perpetrated] by Lon Nol on March 18, 1970, an increasing number of pure Patriots have joined the maquis to fight against the Putschists and their foreign masters, and for the liberation of Cambodia which has lost her independence and her territorial integrity.
While still very young, H.E. Samdech and Lok Chumtiev Hun Sen were the very first man and woman citizens to join the maquis and to heroically fight for the national liberation.
If, under Lon Nol, there would only be men and women Lonnolians, in 2006, the “Khmer Republic” would have remained still.
Being named “Father of National Unity,” I can only unite (rather than disunite) all our men and women Compatriots. All men and women have my affection and my benediction.
However, in the framework of my “Funny Stories,” I cannot prevent myself from laughing when I think that Gaullist France would not have existed if, under Marshall Petain and Hitler, there were only Petainists and Hitlerians.
H. E. Lu Lay Sreng is even more so excusable, given that, between 1941 and 1944, [being] King of Cambodia, I had to sing at the Lambert Stadium: “Mashall (Petain), here we are! … in front of you (your portrait) the Savior of France!” All of this is very funny.

You are retire from job, you are not retire from polilic!
Politic is part of life you start it at 18 or 21 (up to the law) and until you die (this is natural law).
If politic affect your life you fight for it.
Do not confuse poeple!
