Cambodian Students escaped war in Lebanon

Four Cambodian students had recently escaped from Lebanon which is currently intensely fighting with Israel in the past week.

Un Van Puthireavong, 22-year-old student, and three other Cambodian women students received scholarships for graduate studies in Science in Lebanon.

Puthireavong told RFA that on Thursday 20 July, after seeing the worsening of the fight, and the road cuts, the four students have decided to escape Lebanon to return back to Cambodia before the end of their studies.

The four students had arrived safely in Cambodia.

so many school in the world, why choose to go to Lebanon? Please stay away from Middle East Nation, they have issue man. These suckers are killing each other like animal.. They don't know how to make peace. they just want to kill each other for land in the name of Alah and holly land of Jesus. They are crazy. Don't be there.

Don't say like that man. Maybe you don't know the difficulties of finding scholarship for graduate program. To us living in Cambodia, a scholarship to go abroad, it doesn't matter where, means an opportunity to better education. I expect the 4 students to return back to Lebanon when everything comes to normal to complete their study. If they stop by this time, they'll get nothing for the past years in the Middle East.

I'm sorry to say, but what kind of educations can Lebanon offer to Cambodian student? to be an terrorist expert?? came back home and have the knowledge how to build bomb and strap around your waist?
