Ta Mok's relatives are allowed to care for him at Preah Ket Mealea hospital after his lawyer says that his health deteriorates so fast that he may die in the next few days since he lost consciousness Wednesday night.
Eighty-two-year-old Ung Choeun or Ta Mok was Khmer Rouge military commander and was detained in 1999. He was taken from a military facility to a military hospital on March 29 for treatment after an abnormal hypertension, weakness, and a spinal cord condition.
Ta Mok's lawyer Benson Samay says that Ta Mok's illness is at its final stage because he was unconscious.
Military court officials and doctors Friday allege that they allow four of Ta Mok's relatives to care for him at Preah Ket Mealea hospital.
Ta Mok is awaiting Khmer Rouge Tribunal for former Khmer Rouge leaders for genocide and crimes against humanity.

Some people are force to take poison for telling the truth! This is a real tradegy of Ta Mok in Cambodian genocide story.
May Ta Mok rest in peace.
May he goes to Hell for the souls he butchered us in the '70s. Hell is waiting for you.
I think am paranoid too when it comes to the health of these leaders. So many people are involved, it seems unlikely anyone would want the truth out, even the Cambodian government themselves.
I want to know what was truth. Not through the documentaries, I want these leaders stand and defend themselve and and explain before the court the actions. It seems that cambodian will never have this part of justice and closure of knowing why they had to go through what they went through and it will never closes the wound of those who will not have a chance to listen and hear personally from those responsible themselves.
Ta Mok is a bad man in Khmer history, he deserve a life in hell, but it is importance that we all have to try to bring his life back, i think all of us want to know what was going wrong during 70s, why Pol Pot killed Cambodian when he in power, he try very hard to win a war, he is a higest educated person in Cambodia, he knows what will bring country to be proper, but why it went another way round? what had happened behind the scend.the true will be heard very soon.
