The commander of US military forces in the Pacific will arrive in Cambodia Monday for a three-day visit that will include meetings with Prime Minister Hun Sen and as-yet-unnamed human rights officials, US Embassy spokesman Jeff Daigle said on Thursday. Admiral William Fallon, who arrived in Vietnam on Thursday for a four-day visit there, is scheduled to arrive in Siem Reap province on Monday and will travel to Phnom Penh on Tuesday to discuss military cooperation, Jeff Daigle said. Fallon will also meet with Minister of Defense Tea Banh and RCAF Commander-in-Chief Ke Kim Yan, according to Suon Samnang, director of the Defense Ministry's international relations department. "There is no specific agenda for discussion. As far as I know he will come just to introduce himself to [Ke Kim Yan]," he said. This will be Fallon's first visit to the region in his current post, which he has held since February 2005, according to Agence France-Presse.
