Statement in Heng Pov's Name Details Allegations

Former police chief Heng Pov has elaborated on previous allegations made to his Australian lawyer of criminal activity at the top levels of government, according to a statement obtained Tuesday written in the name of the fugitive officer.

"I am now hiding in a neighboring country and cannot go back to my beloved country Cambodia," reads the nine-page document, which begins "Statement of Heng Peov."

"I am nothing like what I have been accused of and I have never committed the crimes that they have alleged," continues the document.

Cambodian authorities on July 31 announced a warrant for Heng Pov's arrest, accusing him of involvement in the 2003 assassination of Municipal Court judge Sok Sethamony and linking him to a string of other crimes. Heng Pov left Cambodia July 23 and raids on his home uncovered counterfeit dollars, weapons and $1 million in cash.

The latest statement alleges involvement by government officials in the March 1997 attack on a peaceful protest outside the National Assembly. It also claims that a government official ordered the July 1999 assassination of much-loved actress Piseth Peaklica and the 1997 murder of Ho Sok, a Funcinpec undersecretary of state who was shot dead at the Interior Ministry.

It goes on to allege that a government official threatened to kill Heng Pov if he didn’t stop investigating the drug trade.

Interior Ministry spokesman Khieu Sopheak said Heng Pov was making what he called wild allegations to improve his chances of receiving political asylum abroad. "This is the exchange, the price for political asylum," he said. "True or not true, we welcome Heng Pov to court."

Chhay Snarith, chief of the Interior Ministry's general information department, said he suspected the letter may have been written inside Cambodia but declined to comment on the allegations.

Interior Ministry Penal Police chief Mok Chito said Heng Pov was nowhere near the Interior Ministry at the time Ho Sok died. "It's all lies," he said. "Let him scream because his last day is coming near."

This all so true about the actress. She was force to become the ah Hun Sen mistress. Pecklika was another man's wife, isn't she? But Hun Sen used arrogantness to subdue his subordinate.

Heng Pov is telling the truth, I believe him! The World better listen to this man! The government of Cambodia wants him back, so they can bury him for good. Heng Pov, you must document your claims for the world to stand by you.

I congratulate you for your courage to stand against the evil empire. WE know there are Khmer in Cambodia that know the DARK SECRET of CPP. You needed to come out. Die for the good of ALL.

According to Cambodia Daily published last week...Heng Pov's beloved country is not Cambodia it's Vietnam. He is Vietnamese-Chinese. His father in law is Yuon too. Anyway, you need to reveal every crimes you have knowledge of involving yourself and those in the gov't. By doing that, you may have a better chance to be granted a political asylum. Good Luck Criminal

Heng Poev will be a potential witness to the court of justice when Hun Sen will put on trial. The SRP granade attack 97, So Hok, Pisethtylica, Sreynic .... The revelation starts to come but wait for a time....

Heng Pov is not Vietnamese. Just because he married to the Vietnamese woman as most Khmer men do, that does not mean he is Vietnamese. I am glad Heng Pov
brings us informations.
If Heng Pov did NOT tell the world we get no cases against the thugs even we know what is going on in Cambodia. Now we get the case from Heng Pov who once was Hun Sen's top advisers who knew all inside Hun Sen's dirty jobs.

Now the whole world know why all money keep disappearing, and the poor people remain poorer the richer are richer.

It is all Hun Sen's faults, he engages with mafia drug dealers.

I hope these thugs will shoot each others to death, so poor Khmer people can be freed.

I believe 100% Heng Pov tells the truth regardless of his affiliation with his former gangsters.

Yeah, that's what the Hun Sen's government has been barking regading Heng Peov's allegation. But can the Cambodian show it (this money) as an evident on the TV? Also, show bank document about the US$1 million. Show all the evident on TV or newspaper!

OK?

Most people who have red Heng Pov's documents accusing Hun Sen and his entourage of secret crime against the Cambodian nation, very much believe it. Because Hun Sen is a former Khmer Rouge and a Vietnamese communist brainwashed from Vietnam. Heng Pov might commit the crime too. But whatever he did just under Hun Sen's direction. So Hun Sen needs go to Hell or the World Justice needs to take him to the International Tribuanal Court of The Lahaye...
