A Cambodian political delegation paid a visit to Ho Chi Minh City Monday to exchange ideas and experience on voluntary youth matters with the city’s head of the Communist Youth Union.
The delegation, led by Sir Kep Chuk Tema – secretary of People’s Committee of and mayor of Phnom Penh capital, was warmly welcomed and had a discussion with his counterpart – Tat Thanh Cang.
The Vietnamese leader introduced achievements and activities of youth voluntary campaigns in HCMC – a pioneer flag in voluntary campaigns of Vietnam.
“This is our first visit to HCMC Youth Union to learn experience in mobilizing youth volunteers. We would like the HCMC Youth Union to twin with Phnom Penh’s to launch a youth movement in our country,” said Kep Chuk Tema.
Cambodian delegates sent their compliment to HCMC’s youth leaders.
