People living in an isolated village in Kompong Cham province, celebrated a festival to curse those who grabbed their land on Monday 08 Jan.
136 families from the Sre Soam village, Kompoan commune, Memot district, celebrated a festival unheard of in Cambodia called the festival of cursing.
The villagers said that the festival was celebrated to curse all those who brought misery to their life with the lack of land to cultivate, the villagers are cursing them with the same misery they are suffering, however, they did not directly named those whom they curse: “We are praying Buddha for our land, asking Him to help the villagers. Let those who come and grab the land from the villagers be cursed with destruction; if they are powerful, may they lose their power; if they are rich, may all their wealth be destroyed. In summary, let them not transgress on poor villagers who are living in hardship.”
The villagers indicated that the reason for the cursing celebration was because a group of people came in and laid claim on the ownership of the land on which the villagers are currently cultivating. The group accuses the villagers of occupying the land illegally, and is suing the villagers for occupying land belonging to others.

may buddha grant your wish.....
mother eart will take care the request for Buddha!
Buddha only left us humans his greatest teachings the way of life - how we can live with each other in harmony. Buddha, one of the greatest extraordinary men was dead, and he cannot grant us wishes. Buddha among many Buddhas before this last Buddha which we have no record of them all came down to this earth to teach humans the way of life. The saddest part is that the Buddhists betrayed Buddha. Cursing or hurting/harming others is not what Buddha teaches.
If they are real Buddhists they must accept the Law of KAMA and find way to challenge those notoriously killers or they can turn to the Devils for help like they are doing now, but be sure Buddha won't grant their wishes but the DEVILS will.
