Ngin Sotheavy, wife of former Cambodian police commissioner Heng Pov, denies allegations of possession and circulation of counterfeit US currency, exclusively to VOA Khmer Monday.
The Cambodia Daily confirmed Sunday that the Phnom Penh Municipal Court has summoned Ngin Sotheavy on suspected money laundering, because they claimed to had found over $300,000 followed a raid by police last year. They suspected that $30,000 of the total amount is fake money.
Ngin Sotheavy has denied these charges, and believed that the summon is an indication of blackmail by officials forcing her family to drop a legal action suit against Malaysian government officials over the sudden deportation of her husband from the country.
Ministry of Interior spokesman Khieu Sopheak asserts that these are two separate cases, and has denied any links to her claims of blackmail attempts.

Looks like she is still one very rich bitch. Most of the money was likely come from corruption - when her husband was a tiger and now he is a dog waiting to be eaten by his master.

Of course, not only Ngin Sotheavy, Heng Pov's wife, even Hun Sen's wife, Mee Piggy Sam Hieng or Bun Rany, is a rich bitch. Mee Sam Hieng reaps from Cambodians about US$90 million annually from gasolin business. Some tax officials said that Mee Sam Hieng has paid very litle imported tax for gasolin import. This is the tipical CPP officials' wives.

Why are you accusing people without knowledge? Before blaming people you need to know the truth. Rumours are never really the truth. If just listen by rumours then Cambodia will continue with war and killings. Jealuosy is never a good advocate, it gives only hate and democracy will never come. Don't mix up killers with others. It is not because you have money that you are a thief... So stop your childish arguments and start to be adult and move on for a real democracy in Cambodia.

It is not the capitalism! A Hun Sen family suck the blood of the Cambodian people. I remember that A Hun Sen said after Pol Pot Regime, he and his family has only emty hands. But now they are so rich while million of Cambodians are living under the line of poverty. They took the state property and make it their own. It is the act of robbering the Cambodian people; it is not the capitalism. Fuck my ass !
Yes, that's good commemts. If the gap between the rich and the poor is too big then social security is not stable - those who don't have food to eat might do harsh to others.
Yeh! I agree with you. We should use our mind to think wisely. I just wonder how can this people become rich so quick. It is not a capitalism; it is Marcos- or Suharto-style ganster who build their fortune from the blood of Cambodians. They run the country and they hold the business it is the conflict of interest.

Those criminals are not capitalists but groups of mafia. When the mafia controls the country then look what happens? Destruction. Some author wrote about "Cambodia Curse". The last destruction of Cambodia when the enemy knows how to use a destructive man to rule, and this books is old, it's written since late 60's by an unknown author. Look what now? Hun Sen with his last name "HUN" which definded as a destructive person. The black oil will lead to the destruction of Cambodia by the hand of these T'Mil, Hun Sen and his cronies. And at the end China will forcefully take Vietnam in order to have a full control of that black oil. China won't share with the west, so the war will begin.
How Vietnam ~75 Millions vs. China 1.2 Billions? This 3rd WWIII is not only against the radical Muslim who believe that all the infidels must be killed for not converting to Islams, it is also the war who will Rule the World economy.
