PHNOM PENH (National Team) - The Cambodian Basketball federation and the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport, as appointed Mr. Koledoye Abayomi Austin as the coach to the Cambodian Basketball National Men's team.
His responsibilities is to provide a technical advice to the coaching staff, arrange International friendly games, recruitment of new players, prepare the team for competition and provide quality coaching to the players on the team.
Mr. Austin is from Nigeria and has been involve in the development of Basketball in Cambodia.
The team will be playing at the next South East Asian games slated for December 6, 2007 in Thailand.
