A “historic” and funny story at the same time

Translated from French by Luc Sâr

A “historic” and funny story at the same time
By N. Sihanouk

Beijing, March 21, 2007 at 11:00 PM

In 1962, The Hague International Court of Justice had the equity of solemnly declaring that the mount and sacred temple of Preah Vihear belonged ([and still] belong) to Cambodia rather than to Thailand.

A large newspaper in Bangkok (I don’t recall its name) wrote in substance, the following: “Sihanouk has Thai (Siamese) blood in his veins, that is why he is intelligent and crafty (my question: the Khmer people who built Angkor, did they (do they) lack intelligence and … craftiness? NS). It is because he had Thai (Siamese) blood in his veins that Sihanouk won the Prah Viharn (sic!) case at The Hague.

I, N. Sihanouk, had “to conclude” that “Sihanouk being Siamese (Thai), [thus] the victory of Kampuchea at The Hague in 1962 was a … Thai (Siamese) victory.”

It is true that, living in the Siam (in Thailand), for several centuries, in one of the provinces of … the ex-Khmer Empire – provinces which was “absorbed” later on by the emerging Siam – is one “branch” of the family of my paternal Grand-Parents (the Sutharot), [this branch of the family] ended up becoming “Siamese” (“Thai”), but the blood flowing in the veins of all members of this “Sutharot” branch was and remains 100% KHMER.

In this holy year 2007 where my Wife is “becoming” “Vietnamese,” I don’t have one Oum Mannorine and one Oum (Mrs. Pannakar) to testify that I do not have Siamese (Thai) blood.

Sihanouk, a Siamese-Khmer, “this” is fine by me. It is not a “degeneration” (far from it!) to have in [one’s] veins “a little bit” of Siamese (Thai) blood, as long as I (Norodom Sihanouk) am and remain, all my life long, a pure Khmer Patriot, 100% pure.

(Signed) Norodom Sihanouk

Do you want to know another Khmers' shit head branch? The Chey Chetha 2's branch. That is another dumb Khmer Branch who took off for someone else's country & interest which is Youn in Khmer's vocabulary & Vietnam in English, but Their own.

What was her name that appeared in Miami Florida's special ceremony not too long ago? Princess Thi Nga? What a hell deos that mean anyway? She is a direct descent from Khmer's blood. Did you hear any word from that Shit Head Princess? or one word about her having direct connection to Khmer? Not a word my friend. Zero.

This is how some of us Khmers raising our children. One of this day, those shit head people will come back and begging for their forgivess 5 times a day until the day they die. Enjoy your Kung Fu and all that for now.

Ms. Thi Nga is the great great grand daughter of King Chey Chetha The Second.

From our own history, her ( Princess Thi Nga ) Great Great and may be another great....great grandmother was only 16 year old when she was giving away as gift by her father to our then King Chey Chettha The Second.

King Chey Chetha 2 was 52 years old at that time. Did Princess Thi Nga's great great great grandfather had any moral whatever when he knew that Preas Chou Chey Chetha The Second was happily married with children? and purposely destroy his life and his Kingdom?

We did not think so. All he cared about was more land for The Veitnamese people to live in. It was pure political.

Now that woman ( Thi Nga ) who is directly related to Khmer and without her Great great great grandfather ( CC2 ) around, was totally lost in the hand of Vietanmese's royal family. Poor Child. She knew nothing about.

Is that a fact OK, if I may?

All these were told directly from our grandparents and parents'lips.

Do we need to believe someone else's idea or history? We decide to keep it as it it.

We sometime like to know whatever happened to The children born to King Chey Chetha The Second and His Vietnamese's Princess Wife. Could they all be abandoned by The Royal Family in The Main Land or Khmer Kandale? We think that there is a great possibility or may be it's not important.

I agree with HM Samdech Sihanouk. Whether being a Khmer could not be determined by their face, but their heart and mind. My grandfather is a purely chinese, but i am raised in Cambodia. I got education in Cambodia. I love my people I have everything in common with my people. Love and heart, even if my skin and face is abit chinese-look.
