Prime Minister Hun Sen was scheduled to meet with Nguyen Phu Trong, the Vietnamese Assembly chairman, on Thursday (yesterday). However, because of his illness, Hun Sen cancelled the meeting with the Vietnamese leader. Prum Virak, director of the protocol department for the National Assembly, told The Cambodia Daily that Hun Sen is coming down with fever and could not meet with the Vietnamese Assembly chairman. Prum Virak said that normally, Hun Sen never change his schedule when it comes to meeting with important foreign delegation, however, because of his illness, he has to cancel it. Chea Sim, Senate president, met with Nguyen Phu Trong on Thursday afternoon, he said that the visit of Nguyen Phu Trong in Cambodia is extremely important in the strengthening the relationship, friendship, and the cooperation between the two countries, in particular between the two legislative bodies.

What is a failure of those meetings: it is because the voice of Khmer Krom and the sensitivity of Khmer people are outraged in this moment....so anybody who met with this VN delegate and didn't say a word relating to human right violation in Khmer Krom....they are will be blamed and hated by Khmer people...
But now Hun Sen is pure and good hand with his political career by illness as excuse not to face with strong criticism by meeting VN delegation...
All plans come from Yuan that they want Hun Sen to govern the country until he is 90 years old.
