The Phnom Penh municipal court plans to temporarily release 14 people from jail, based on the request and the vouching by the Kompong Speu authority. The 14 have been jailed for the past 5 months because they are suspected of being involved in the drug production in Kompong Speu. Chiv Keng, president of the Phnom Penh court, told RFA on Tuesday that the court investigation found that the 14 were victims of a cheating by drug producing criminals. Chiv Keng said that the Kompong Speu authority is vouching for their temporary release. Chiv keng said that the court could allow this requested release because these laborers are poor people who did not know anything about the drug issue. Chiv keng did not confirm the date when the 14 will be released, he only said that they will be released soon.

I cannot see the prince has done anything for his country at all. There are too much news about this mulfunction law academia whose turn out to be nothing but corrupt, womenise, and opportunise.
While in power, he did not protest to Vietnamese government who continue to inflict suffering to his own people along the border. He sit comfortably when the authoritarian Hun Sen police persecuted the pro-democracy, monks, and laymen. He manipulated with other democratic parties for his own benefit. What he is good at is to be proud himself to be the son of royal family, to have more misstress, and exploited the innocent Cambodian into believe that he is the good leader.
All media should stop paying any attention to this man.
Prince Ranariddh! you have proved yourself enough. Stop pretending any more. Cambodia can go ahead without you. Please, please go to hell.

This monkey court should release them long time ago, but then again the helpless always pay the price for law that the criminal and their associates impose upon them.
What take the court so long to bring for hearing? These people should have been trialed long ago; if they have nothing to do with drug, they should be released. But why the Cambodian court system is always involved with politics?
