However, some political analysts believe that this is not a good sign for both Funcinpec and NRP. Regarding the question as to whether the two parties could merge with one another, Muth Chantha, NRP spokesman, claimed that it could not happen, he added that the invitation of Prince Ranariddh to return back to Funcinpec will not take place either. Muth Chantha said that according to his chief (Prince Ranariddh), Funcinpec is like a man about to die, and this man cannot be saved.
