One human rights group is pursuing the case of the disappearance of the former abbot of Phnom Den pagoda, located in Takeo province. Up to now, the whereabouts of the monk is still unknown, following this defrocking.
On Tuesday, the Cambodian Center for Human Rights (CCHR) issued a statement regarding the contradictions by the Cambodian authorities in the resolution of this disappearance.
The statement indicated that, according to the letter signed by supremo patriarch Tep Vong on 17 June, the defrocking of Monk Tim Sakhorn was done because he hurt the diplomatic relation between Cambodia and Vietnam.
However, on 02 July, Khieu Sopheak, spokesman of the Ministry of Interior, recognized that Monk Tim Sakhorn was deported to Vietnam. An at times, Khieu Sakhorn would say that the former monk even provided his thumbprint or his signature to volunteer to return back to live in his birthplace in Kampuchea Krom (South Vietnam).
But, Khieu Kanharith, spokesman of the government, told reporters recently that Abbot Tim Sakhorn did not do anything wrong, and that. Maybe, he is traveling somewhere without letting other people know about it.

My friend just told me that Vietnam now admitted that they are imprisoning Ven. Tim Sakhorn based on this news (if you can read YOUN): http://www.vovnews.vn/?page=109&nid=45626
Based on my friend said, the YOUN said that Ven. Tim Sakhorn crossed border illegal so they arrested him and foundout that he is the one trying to propagate the KKF's activities to against Vietnam. Then they claimed that Ven. Tim Sakhorn will be imprisoned with a reason of sabotaging the unification policy....
Cambodian, please wake up, now you see the real face of the current CPP leaders who work like a dog for its YOUN master. RFA should ask what Khieu Sopheak and Khieu Kannarith think about what the YOUN said on that Website because those two bastard know how to read YOUN.
The election is coming up. Khieu Samphann now even admitted that the killing during the Pol Pot regime relating to YOUN also. Let use it as a big deal and see how the freaking CPP will answer that to the Cambodian people because they used to be a former KR also who are actualy the people that Vietnam used as KR to against KR in that time. Hor Nam Hong is also a supervisor of Toul Sleng Prison. Let ask Hor Nam Hong where were him during Pol Pot time. There are some Cambodian knew his stories and face so well during that time.
