The Ministry of Tourism (MoT) is starting to review again the draft general law on tourism for the entire kingdom. The review was done in a seminar held on 24 August in Phnom Penh. The Rasmei Kampuchea newspaper reported that Sam Prumnea, the MoT secretary of state, said, during the seminar, that this draft law is very important because its extent will govern and rule all tourism activities, as well as the development of the tourism industry in the kingdom. Thong Khun, minister of tourism, claimed that when the draft law is approved by the National Assembly, the tourism sector in Cambodia will see as much progress as in other countries in the region, and in the world also.

The problem with all of these laws are less compliant, because all of these oknha and officials are above the law, and money talk all the time.

I have serious doubt in Thong Khun, minister of tourism claimed very much! If Thong Khun fails to make Cambodia as a unique place for tourists to visit then the future of Cambodian tourism will pay a heavy price!

Cambodia can't afford to mingle with Thailane and Vietname because Thailane and Vietname will use Cambodian advertisements as a Trojan horse to attract more tourists to their countries!

Thank You Thong Khun for telling us that you are a real sucker!
