A Vietnamese Embassy official Wednesday rejected the views of Khieu Samphan, former nominal head of the Khmer Rouge, who claimed Cambodia's eastern neighbor would have taken over Cambodia in 1975 if the regime had not protected the country.
Trinh Ba Kim, first secretary of the Vietnamese mission in Phnom Penh, said Khieu Samphan's claims, made to VOA Khmer earlier this week, were untrue.
Former Khmer Rouge leaders have routinely used the Vietnamese as scapegoats, and, when the regime began its spiraling self destruction, many cadre were accused of being Vietnamese agents. They were then tortured and killed.
Government spokesman Khieu Kanharith called Khieu Samphan an intellectual who should not have said such things.

Kiev Samphan's view is not different from Pol Pot and other KR's leaders who have shared the same view and fear that "when Vietnam can take over American troops of the south, they will continuously head to the West to have total control of Cambodia".
In that time, every one was aware that Lon Nol was very weak from the internal corruption and betrayal of America who had no genuine support for Lon Nol regime.
We are young generation, are aware that the victory of Khmer Rouge over Lon Nol could postpone the Vietnam's aggressive ambition to invade Cambodia.
In that moment, China was aware and hurtful from the betrayal of Ho Chi Minh after Vietnam was unified. Vietnam untied with China, and strengthened tie with Russia. This action made China hurtful that Russia was also their sharp enemy (same communist with different ideology).
Kiev Samphan's word is critical and important to proclaim some point of view that KR had done for the benefit of Cambodia.

Murderous Hanoian commo leaders who are so cunning didn't want themselves to get caught in action so they used their Yuon/Yavana citizens, who used to live in Cambodia before 1970, are well-educated in Khmer language, culture, tradition, custom, and religion...etc. to have impersonated themselves as the Khmer Rouge soldiers to brutally kill Cambodian innocent people.

To be fair, we have to balance our judgment. The opinion of KR's leaders must be heard and intellectually analytic, so that our Cambodian people and their country will not be in the stomach of some imperialistic and greedy neighbor.
However, the KR is already passed...and to be united for the whole Khmer nation, we should not retaliate or create hatred toward them in our Khmer mentality...we just prevent it not to happen again...and now it is time for us to listen their cause of genocide...

Beloved Cambodian 's corp every where the blood covered up the hightway , the new born babies waving the arms around ,crying on the top of their mothers some of them beside their mothers bodies,and the same year almost every nights that yiekcong black teeth tried to kill us. Who said Khmer play the blame game?
Nobody knows for sure what change the course of Khmer history but one can see clearly why Khmer empire had been going down hill ever since! In this case the study of Khmer geography and Khmer population are very important!
It is interesting to note that there are large Khmer population living in Vietname and in Thailane to this day and why is that the case? This is to show you how much Thailane and Vietname populations had been overrunning and annexing Khmer land and people! The Khmer population and Khmer land had been the victim of the Siam and the Viet illegal migrations since the Siam and the Viet began moving out from China!
The Khmer empire can't compete with the Siam and the Viet population due to the small Khmer population! I mean who would think that the foreign population can overrun indigenous population! Ahahhahah For example, The American Indian population was overrun by European immigrants! Now in the 21st century, the White American populations are being overrun by illegal immigrant from all over the world! This is why in United States the issues of illegal immigrant are very sensitive and hotly debated and American Lawmakers will no choice except to pass the law to protect American citizen from being overrun by the illegal immigrants coming from all over the world!
A lot of Khmer people credited the French for saving Khmer people from extinction! But I can say that there are a lot nations got independent even without the French intervention! Such East Timor, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia, Lithuania, Estonia, Lathvia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan...
The Khmer empire had been overrun by illegal Siam and Viet populations for a long time but somehow these Siam and these Viet couldn't conquer over the Khmer people completely and if they could and they would do it long time ago! So there is no need to blame the Khmer people for trying to stop the onslaught from the Siam and the Viet any longer and now it is the time to help free those poor unfortunate Khmer people who still live under oppression of Vietname and Thailane!
By the way the Siam army and the Viet army were already in Khmer land before and after Cambodia got her independent from France!

You have enlightened us with the truth that KR is just one of the byproducts of Ho Chi Minh and his colleagues to have absolute control of Indochina Federation.
Now, it is time for all Cambodian people especially our young generation to wonder that "does present Hun Sen government is independent from Vietnam as well as Indochina Federation?".
Sometime, we can assume that Vietnam embassy in Phnom Penh or some treaties on behalf of Cambodia nation are just a fake stage to have a play that Vietnam can swallow Cambodia legally in the international stage...
Now, we are Cambodians are really wondering that Hun Sen leadership is not independent from Vietnam's domination, occupation, imperialism and colonization...
