A group of thieves armed with AK-47 machine guns conducted motorcycle holdups in Phnom Penh almost every day, and the authority has no ability to fight them yet. Recently, at 8:45 PM on 20 September 2007, the same group of thieves stole a 2004 Honda C-125 motorcycle at gunpoint. The motorcycle belonged to a young man who was stopping to buy a roast chicken along Street No. 271, in Teuk La’ok 3 commune, Tuol Kok district. The victim sustained serious injuries on the head from the beating by the thieves who used their AK-47 guns to beat the man. The group of thieves counted 3 members, and they were riding a red Korean C-100 motorcycle. In the past one month, the AK-47 thieves were successful on many occasions, in their holdups in Phnom Penh. However, the authority could not fight them, in spite of the night and daytime traps set to catch them. People wonder if these thieves know a disappearing magic trick to hide themselves, that’s why, the police could never find them.

They could be the police themselves. How much salary they have earned? Not enough to live. The rich are richer and the poor are poorer. When the country run by idiots that's what happen.

These robberies are CPP children. They're gangster like their parents. When you have a low class and illiterate leaders lead the country, that's what you get.
