The Kandal provincial court issued a ruling to detain the former Preah Vihear deputy provincial governor, and his younger brother, for intentionally setting up a fire, and colluding with each other to set a fire. Tuo Thien Tey and his younger brother were arrested by the police on 10 December in Banteay Meanchey province, and they were sent to the Kandal provincial court on 11 December so that legal measures can be taken against them. After questioning, the court issued a detention order for the two stemming from the charges brought against them by the prosecutor. Tuo Thien Tey was accused by the prosecutor of colluding to set up a fire, and Tuo Tek, his brother, was accused of intentionally setting up a fire to burn down an excavator in village No. 2, Kampong Svay commune, Serey Sophorn (Sisophon) district, Banteay Meanchey province on 16 July 2007. Tuo Thien Tey was the former Banteay Meanchey deputy provincial governor from Funcinpec.

It souds good to trial them but it is found guilty from people beside CPP only.
