WFP grants $64 mil aid to Cambodia

PHNOM PENH — The World Food Program has granted Cambodia $64 million for projects on education, health and disaster prevention, the government said Thursday.

Of the total $64,142,288, $56,926,108 will be used to prevention in 15 of the country's 24 provinces, according to a statement released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. The remaining $7,216,180 will be improve education, health, disasterused to reduce the child mortality rate and improve maternal health care in five provinces, the statement said.
