A Cambodian family thought they had seen a ghost when the husband and father they believed they were cremating turned up alive and well at his own funeral, local media says.

Khmer-language newspaper Koh Santepheap said the family had decided to hold a funeral for Oum Souv, 24, after the dedicated family man went missing for two days and two nights and a subsequent search of jungle nearby turned up an unclaimed decomposing body.

However, the real Souv had been drugged, robbed and left for dead in woodland in a neighbouring village and he came to and made his way home to his distraught family members just as they began cremating the unknown man, the paper said.

God!

It is exactly the same thing happened to me in 1980, when I was told that my brother was killed by a black uniform THAI TASK FORCE 80 who guard the Thai village border near Nang Chan Camp ( many people were shot and killed for crossing the border to buy stuff in Nang Chan village, Thai side of the border). A witness took me to a location presumably my brother's burried place.

GUESS what, he showed up the next day and told me that he was taken by Thai adopted family to visit BANGKOK and had a good time. But my eyes were swollen and distress for one day. Thank God.

Your brother was a sef-fish person. He got adopted Thai family and didn't tell the younger one. Then, he went to visit Bangkok with his adopted family. He made you and the rest of family worried while he enjoyed the night time in Bangkok. Did he bring anything back for you? I was in Nong Chan too, but only about 10 days. I managed to get to Khao I Dang.
