SRP Litter Collection Is a Positive Thing

Battambang provincial authorities should not be worried by SRP youth supporters running a campaign to collect litter in Battambang town.

This action will not have a negative effect on society. It helps clean the environment and improves sanitation and hygiene, both of which help Cambodia's Ministry of Rural Development and Ministry of Environment.

Even if they were wearing SRP insignia, the litter collectors still helped raise awareness about the environment. We should welcome all youth from any political party—CPP, Funcinpec, SRP, NRP, and HRP—or NGOs who want to contribute to social work.

In the past the Cambodian Red Cross youth and Cambodian Scouts have helped in a lot of social work, such as being traffic guides on weekends. Social work in Cambodia is badly needed regardless of political affiliation, religion, or whether they are from the public or private sector, in order to improve society.

Collecting litter is a social work. Any people , any political party can do this without authorisation from the Government authotity.
Even communist government doesn't prevent people from doing this.
Hun Sen government is worst than the Khmer Rouge.
The Khmer Rouge leaders are criminal against humanity . But they are poor.
Hun Sen and his government are plundering people's wealth and property. They real rich criminals.

The SRP Youths are doing a very good and noble job, and the are becoming popular. That scares the coward caveman Hun Sen.

Om Reatrei would be very happy if he was elected by a popular vote, no matter what party he is affiliated with. However, this shameless coward was appointed and will do anything to save his jop and not to serve the people he governs.

SRP's MPs, please press on for a law on popular vote for all official posts in province and distrct including governors, deputy governors, and other higher rank officer (police, education, finance, health, etc).

Each appointed ministers of the goverment must be confirmed by two-third of the congress before allowing to take the job and must unconditionally answer to the congress.

Each MP must be elected directly and individually.

Things have changed and in Cambodia hell has broken loose and some evils have appeared righ in many high offices.

its a good thing that their doing this... but its a bad thing that they are wearing SRP shirt. In a country with such political tension, one might view this as a type of vote buying. However, I do support positive action any and all positive action as long as it benefit the people.

It probably be better if they were from an NGO who just happen to follow the view of SRP.

To respond to Prime Minister Hun Sen at Battambang University Inauguration,

Cambodia is the heaven of freedom for Prime Minister Hun Sen, but not all ordinary people. Even people in Central Committee of CPP dare not express ideas what they wanted.

If Hun Sen wishes to try UN for provision of Khmer Rouge Seat at UN, this is like he wants to knuckle China because China is one of the strongest supporters to the Khmer Rouge Regime. But why Hun Sen warmly shakes hands with China if Hun Sen really hates the killing field?

Hun Sen could be proud of dissolving the Khmer Rouge organizational structure, but if no countries in signing Paris Peace Accord to stop millitary assistance to the Khmer Rouge rebel and other parties like Son San and Sihanoukist, the war would not end easily. The current peace can't reject the UN contributions including Cambodia restructuring.
