In his speech given during the closing of the yearly meeting at the Ministry of Interior, on Thursday 13 March, Prime minister Hun Sen wished that more women are present in his administration, especially at the provincial and district levels. “From now on, women must be nominated to the position of deputy governor in each province and one in each district of the kingdom,” Hun Sen indicated while asking Sar Kheng, the minister of Interior, to follow suit with this order as soon as possible. According to Hun Sen, women can aspire to the highest level of responsibility, in particular, at the Senate, the National Assembly, in the government, as well as in the commune councils. However, unfortunately, there are no women holding important positions in cities, provinces, and districts. “This must be done quickly, and I am ready to sign official promotions,” Hun Sen said. Currently, 14.8% of Senators, 19% of the MPs are women. In the government, there are two women ministers in the 26 ministries, as well as some holding the rank of state secretaries and under-secretaries. 14.6% women are found in the commune councils.

This is a great idea!

Of course, diversity of staff will unequivocally and greatly enhance our ability to strengthen our leadership that will enable us to work together to improve the life of Cambodian people. Mr. PM, I applaud your idea!

Yeah, but who did he have in mind?

Certainly, we don't want no Sissies from the west. Maybe we can bring in some from the countryside and give them a good kick start.

My beloved Khmers!

Wow, wow, WoW!

Da way to go, Samdech Dey Dek Cho Hun Sen? It's literally about time with your many Ph.Ds, you are eventually coming up with decoying statement? How many Khmer people still unconscientiously fool by your magnificent statement?

Ah Hun Sen tries to promote women in the government before the election. After the election he will kick them all out. He tries to convey message to Cambodia women to make sure they vote for him. Whoever wants to work Hun Sen; they will be considered as traitors. They should not work under this traitor who gives away our land to his master and he is a killer.

May be he wants to go to bed with all these women ministers after he appoints them.

Poor public servants and armed forces wives had enough of Hun Sen chauvinism and hypocrisy for the last 20 some years that this idiot in power.

Women votes can strip CPP from power. So Hun Sen uses a ploy to insult women.
Women who used to work for him when he was a foreign minister in the 80's were sexually harassed and abused. That's why they are not too crazy with Hun Sen sex monger.

Shame on him!

Stop bullshitting, 8:18. The CPP is very flexible with Khmer people. They don't kick out people just like that. If you can't do your job, they even send you to school and all to help you do your job. Not too many people is treated that way in a corporation, dude.

This is very nice idea for having Cambodian women to hold important position, but REMEMBER any position installed by Hun Sen, she will work for Hun Sen. It is the same as Hun Sen work for Vietnam.

Watch out nepotism!

Any important positions like these must have candidates and vote. Then, Cambodian Women Leadership will get real power, act fairly for Cambodian society. Real Role Model.

From Academically and Democratically thinking!

Is this fair?

My beloved Khmers!

Since the election of 08 is exceedingly near, Samdech Hun SenHood must desperately feel the necessity for replying exclusively on the olden traditinal poliSick, to prove that he also came from the people, democratic and polular of the peasants:

1. 10% raise allowance of teacher salary.

2.allow Khmer women entering PoliSick!

We Khmer must conscientiously rotate our own philosophical eyes inward, investigating or critiquing the power of our intellect about Samdech Hun SenHood's great numbers of empty promises: Instead of asking what we can know, but ask how we can know what we can already knew.. In short, Enough is enough of his empty promises!

PS. My beloved 8:29PM!
A ya not exclusively sicked and tired of using your devotional and significant words, "F..k"?
