In accordance with the NEC regulations on the Round Table Program No 467/08 dated May 22, 2008; principles for Political Parties’ Spots Program No 468/08 dated May 22, 2008; and notification No 05.022/08 NEC.SG.PIB dated May 22nd, 2008, the NEC had initially decided to provide eight (8) minutes for each political party to answer each question in the Round Table Program and eight (8) minutes for broadcasting the political parties’ radio and television spots.
On May 22, 2008, during a meeting at the NEC Headquarters, the political parties requested an additional eight (8) minutes for each political party. Upon the request of the political parties, the NEC has decided to provide a total of ten (10) minutes to each political party to answer each question of the Round Table Program and ten (10) minutes for broadcasting their political parties spots (video spots and radio spots). The two programs will be broadcast on TVK, National Radio, and FM 96 MHz.
H.E TEP Nytha, NEC Secretary General, said that each political party can produce video spots on the activities of the political party or political party platform that are no more than ten (10) minutes in length per one (1) spot. The political parties can produce a maximum of fifteen (15) video spots and fifteen (15) audio spots and are responsible for the production of the spots. Both video and audio spots should be provided to the NEC from the date the notification was issued until ten (10) days before the first day of the Electoral Campaign Day. The Round Table Program organized by the NEC will address fifteen (15) topics with each topic comprising one program for a total of fifteen (15) programs. Each political party has ten (10) minutes to respond to each topic.
Each political party received five (5) minutes of airtime per day to broadcast their political party platform on state media for the National Assembly Elections in 1993, 1998, and 2003.

C'est clair que les autres partis politiques a pu bénéficier 10 minutes, puisque Hun Sen contrôle tous les réseaux médiatiques du royaume. Qui ose lever le ton à Hun Sen ? Il n'y a personne , à mon avis.

Now that all political parties have a chance to voice their plaform and policy on TVK - truly 10 minutes is sounded minimal period but can make a big impact should they just get to the point what theirs party would do for the people and country should they be elected to lead the country.
Political party shall not be totally relied on TV alone, they shall embark on the road approach directly to their supporters and other potential supporters by effectively selling their policy during thier campign.
Just get to the core related points that people are facing now otherwise the party will definitely loose out the seats.
