ABC Radio Australia

General Chea Morn, commander of Cambodia's Military Region Four is calling for daily talks between the two sides.

He told the Phnom Penh Post that only increased dialogue will prevent a repeat of last week's deadly violence.

General Chea Morn, will lead the Cambodian delegation to the meeting in Siem Reap.

He told the Post the situation on the border has improved significantly and the soldiers from both sides are now communicating with each other across the frontlines.

Tourism down

Border tensions are said to be reducing the enthusiasm of Thai gamblers at Cambodia's casinos.

The chief of the Cambodian tourism office at Poipet border checkpoint, Bou Vibol, where there are several casinos catering to Thais, says the deadly border military clashes have seen hundreds of Thai nationals who usually visit the casinos staying home.

He says there's also a drop off in Thai tourists visiting the Angkor temples in north-western Siem Reap province.

He says the Poipet border crossing has been quiet since the day of fighting erupted.

The siem are trying to mend their damage image. The clash is not due to lack of communication, it because you violate our territory.

Keep refining your hypocrisy, one day you'll sound truthful.

I believe the King and Thai Government need to brake the curse between the two Country,The curse have been for long Century.
I believe you know the answer, when we die we can not take anything with us.
We come from dust and we go back to dust,But our souls, guilt and knowledge we take with us.

The number of tourists in Thailand are really down, not due to border clash (small effect on the global tourist industry), but due to the protestation of the PAD, Islamic insurgents.

Tourists in Cambodia are down because of the global recession.

Here the Thai want think to calm down so the Cambodia would buy their products. Right now in Thailand thousand of people are losing their jobs because companies are hit by global recession.

If you want to make their life even worst just boycott their products. Add to that their internal strife, this will not be beautiful.

Seim king curses the siem government and his children and his people. Sunami just swallow his grand-son supposely crown prince. Now carry over to his people. Down with the curse a siem yellow coward and continue for your next generation and on until you vanish from the earth.

We are the protector of Khmer land. We will conquer and tremble our Siem enemies down to the ground and rotten under the earth. Spirit of our great kings, leaders, grand-fathers, fathers, will protect us and curse our Siem enemies to eternity.

Seim will be bleed and Bangkok will be destroyed. Down you go the black heart siem. You will be curse for the rest of your next generation and on. You will be born with sad and sorrow that will never end.

May our ancestors spirit bless my fellow Khmer soldiers to victory.
