In the evening of 24 February, more than 10 oknhas (rich businessmen), generals and rich people were spirited through the casino back door when Daun Penh police force raided a slot machine parlor at the Vegas Club casino located inside the Phnom Penh Hotel. Nevertheless, officials involved in the raid claimed that more than 10 oknhas, generals and rich people were spirited out through the back door of the club to evade arrest, and those who were arrested during the raid were mainly unimportant people. No sources dare tell who those VIPs who evaded arrest were, but outside, rumors are spreading about the name of these rich and VIP gamblers.
