Villagers living in Andong Meas district of Rattanakiri province said that the Vietnamese authority had crossed the border to come to their village and forbade them from building their houses in their village where they have settled for a long time, reports Radio Free Asia.

Mr. Sol Yam, living in Ta Nga Khum Nhang, said the Vietnamese authority always forbid Khmer villagers from building any buildings in the village because they said that the village is located in a disputed zone. However, the villagers said that the Vietnamese authority are constructing roads in the areas and no Khmer authority came to forbid them.

Mr. Sol Yam said: "The villagers knew that the Vietnamese authority will take half of the village and we are concerned that we will have nowhere to go to because presently all lands have been fully settled by the people. The District Authority did not care about us and they never help us resolve this issues (with the Vietnamese authority)."

Ms. Soy Ny, head of group 2 of Ta Nga Khum Nhang, said that villagers face hardship because the area has not been fully demarcated yet. She said: "The villagers had a dispute with the Vietnamese a long time ago, but they cannot do anything with the Vietnamese authority. They (the Vietnamese authority) buldozed the lands, cutting the village in half for more than two years already."

A Khmer border officer who spoke on condition of anonymity said that the Khmer-Vieetnamese borderlines are located 2 kilometre from this village and the village had been settled by Khmer villagers since the Khmer Rouge regime (in the 1970s). But in 2005, the Vietnamese authority came to buldoze 200 metres deep inside the village, cutting it in half.

A provincial official said that the area had been demarcated in 2008, but both sides had not planted border markers on the ground yet.

Up until now, the Cambodian and Vietnamese authority had planted 38 border markers along the Laotion-Khmer-Vietnamese border triangle.

It is mentally so painful to hear story like this. We are the owner of the land and yet we have the intruders come and tell us not to build the houses on it. How about our authorities at all level? Are they capable to do anything at all to help our people? Wake up Ah Plue Youn dogs don't you turn your back on our people too long before another Khmer Rough regime starts and you and your families will be slaughtered like a pig.

To PM Hun Sen and CPP Officials,

If you don’t want to confront the yuons because you can not fight two wars at the same time (against the yuons and the siams), we understand your position. However, what we would like you to understand is that you must never sign any agreement or treaty with these neighbours that compromise our territorial integrity. Be strong and don't yield to the pressure from the yuons and siams. If you adhere to that principle, the people will stand behind you.

No matter how hard the yuons and the siams try to encroach and take our lands, they will not succeed as long as you don’t sign treaty or agreement with them. The international laws will be on our side and our future generations will always find a way to protect and claim back any land the yuons and siams took from us illegally.

Ah Pleu Hun Sen now you are in deep shit hole! vietnamese is encroaching, trying to build road around the area they had stolen...

It is painful indeed to hear our territories being chipped away in such a way. The Viet come to cut the village in half and we don't hear a word from Hun Sen or other CPP leaders. The leaders are supposed to help the local villagers solve problems like this. This is a national issue, but where are our national leaders? They are probably busy with strengthening their powers and fatten their pockets with dollars. Shame on them!

There are acknowledgeably not the first time happening to our beloved miserable Khmer who defendlessly living near the border. If you guys desirably want to learn more, go to the Khmer-Youn border and you will ironically or madly know the truth that we have continuously lost more homes and land to Youn.

What about the SRP folks. I never heard them talk about this issue. They only make noise about the corruption. Are Sam Rainsy and his gang afraid of the youns and siams too?

It has always been this way for centuries. Our neighbors pushed us around because we are much smaller and weaker. In addition, our leaders seem to always turned their back and refused to help when it comes to dealing with the Youn's Government. Therefore, we Khmer around the world including those living in srok Khmer need to come together and defending what is righfully ours. We have loss Kampuchea Krom, Kos Tral, Surin, Burriram, Si Sa ket, Trat ect., and now they want more from us? When will it end? My brothers and sisters, enough is enough. It is times for us to stand up as one family in order to stop these theives from doing much more in the name of "Khmer".

Srolanh Khmer!

How about that? Is Hun Sen a scarecrow PM or a puppetic PM? In both sides of the country, the neighboring enemies are threatening our innocent people. Why? It's because they clearly see that this arrogant, ignorant and cocky PM is just a blind, mad, barking dog who will bite only his own people. But when it comes to defending his country and people, he drops his tail showing a sign of submission to them. He's a just a chicken, even among his own people. If he's not chicken, why the hell he hires thousands of doggy bodyguards to protect him? Where the hell get the money to pay them if not stealing the national budget? What a coward dog is he!!!

I am not the SRP'supporter; I just want to expression my opinions in a response to 8:36PM: What can SRP's folks do if they have no power and Sam Rainsy is not a PM either?
If they acts beyond their power, the Hun Senists will surely accuse them of insulting their puppetic PM. Nonetheless, I believe most of them love their homeland not less than the other parties's members. Perhaps they are even more patriotic than the Hun Senists.

9:33PM,

That’s not how I see it. There are a lot of things that SRP folks can do. They don’t have to be in power to defend our territory. This is a good time for them to prove their worthiness beyond their daily anti-corruption, anti-government rhetoric. I wish SRP have the courage to stand up and deal with territorial issues. Recently, many SRP MP signed a petition to support the immediate release of imprisoned Burmese political leader. What about signing a petition and send it to Vietnamese and Thai parliaments to stop encroaching our territories? What I did not understand was why Mr. Sam Rainsy wrote a personal letter to congratulate the current Thai Prime Minister, who was one of the strongest opponents to Preah Vihear world heritage listing. There is no doubt that SRP members care about the country, so do most of the people in CPP. But that is not the question that many people have asked over these years. The real question is: Can SRP achieve what it says the other party can not do? The time is long overdue for the SRP to prove its worthiness … “No pain, no gain”.

SRP is largly and patriotically positive about the nation, even though he is not a Khmer poliSickain. SRP does vividly have enough evidents to prove that we Khmer continuously keep losing more land to Youn, Siem, and even Lao, but Unfortunately Hun SenVarman unKhmerly yells in the national TV, "Who has said that Viet has moved the border poles inside our land? Only Khmer did that!"

10:13PM,
Will it be the case of violating the power jurisdiction If the SRP show their courage to stand up against Hun Sen's boss?

11:04PM,

May be or may be not. But event there is one, SRP folks, Mr. Sam Rainsy in particular, should not be afraid of. That's the price a leader has to paid to lead a nation. Otherwise what makes him different from an ordinary citizen!

Many leaders, bad and good, around the world were imprisoned years before taking office - Hitler, Nelson Mandela, ... and so on.

Under Khmer Rouge Hun Sen government, poor Khmer peoples cannot build their home on their own land.

Under Khmer Rouge Hun Sen government, Khmer peoples continue to loose their territory to Thai and Yuon.

you know, SRP, CPP, and other parties have fax,e-mails and addresses. Why do you think it's made public? So that the public can send their grievances.

Don't be so useless. If you have the effort to curse here, you have the time to write them MPs a freaking good letter to let them know and petition them for actions!

The role of defending or nation does not fall on our leaders alone but on all citizens as well.

Take your responsibility.
For years I been sending letter to SRP and other oppositions to work together. I am so glad to see that SRP and Human Rights party seem finally to be working towards that end.

If you dare even mentioning about the Border with Youn or even the word YOUN, I will send you the coffin, that's a promise. You got that?

ME, HUN SEN, Prime minister of CAMBODIA

Anonymous said...

Yes, according to your English (dare mentioning?), you might be that blind mad dog. I appreciate you a great deal if you are really brave enough to come on this blog. Don't go anywhere, OK?

Anonymous said...

let SRP be in charge of the country and then you can blame them for not getting a job done . right now all SRP can do is talking because they got no power .

Anonymous said...

That is a very big freaking "IF" there 4:01 AM. Ah HUN SEN rather dies than letting SRP to be in Charge...

Anonymous said...

Hun Sen said "free coffins" for anyone who dare to defend the borders. So, if SRP criticizes him on borders , he will threaten them with "free coffins".

Bottom line is Hun Sen is the PM. It is his job, not the SRP, to defend the nation against foreign invaders.

Anonymous said...

Ah Hun Sen is a thief.

Thief does not spend money that they steal from Khmer peoples to buy coffins to be giving away.

This is just a threat.

This is how Khmer Rouge behaves.

Hun Sen is a Khmer Rouge.
