The international office of the US Labor Department issued a list of products, including their country of origin, that are produced through forced labor or child labor.
The black list contains 122 products originating from 58 countries. The goal of the publication is to sensitize the public to the problems faced by those who are subjected to forced labor, both adults and children, in order to influence the public consumption behavior.
This black list points out Cambodia for 4 products: salt, brick products, shrimp farming and fishing and rubber. The US and Cambodia collaborate with each other intensively for several years now in order to reduce child labor. As always, progress on this issue is slow while displaying some encouraging sign. The main goal is to lower the number of working children, aged 5 to 17-year, to 8% by 2015.

I felt bad and sad for these kids, they should be in school and learning, not working like this...
did you know india has the world's highest child laborers in the world? that said, all khmer children should be encouraged to stay in school, not go to work like shown in this picture. everyone must help to educate the children the importance of getting an education at all cost; it's for their bright future for if they have no education, they have no future, really.
Don't be silly,Cambodia just got back from khmer rouge and we do it better on later on.Do you think Khmer people stupid than you? Khmer people know how to work from their age 12 to their growing up.How about khmer people kids in US never known how to take care their family just known how to eat and sleep and coplan to their parent no cloth no food no nothing they don't know anything more than khmer people kids in Cambodia.Do you want to bid?
