[Thai] PM asked to formally counter Hun Sen

26/10/2009
Bangkok Post

A small group of senators on Monday called for Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva to issue a formal response to Cambodian leader Hun Sen's ''unethical'' action in using the Asean summit forum to show his personal support for former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra.

Senators Paiboon Nititawan, Khamnoon Sithisamarn and Sumon Sutaviriya said at a press conference that the prime minister's verbal responses were not enough. He should also issue a formal statement on the Cambodian prime minister's unethical use of the international forum in Hua Hin.

Mr Khamnoon said the PM's statement should adhere to diplomatic principles but at the same time clearly show Thailand's standpoint regarding Thaksin.

He urged the government to announce an indefinite delay of parliament's consideration of three memoranda of understanding on Thai-Cambodian border talks over the 4.6-square-kilometre area in dispute around the Preah Vihear temple, as required by Article 190 of the constitution, to show its dissatisfaction with the Cambodian leader.

Mr Khamnoon said most people were very unhappy with Hun Sen's announced stance, which had sowed the seeds of conflict between the Thai and Cambodian people.

Therefore, the prime minister should counter Hun Sen's action with a formal statement..

Mr Paiboon called on the government to adopt a tough policy with Cambodia and give more importance to national integrity and existence than to trivial economic interests.

Our former Ancestor King Jayavarman VII was a jungle Man, but with a better horizon as some western educated people from Bangkok.
Contrary Mr. Hun Sen the PM of Cambodia is an uneducated person. He sure used a lot of times to learn from our ancestors. He now deserve to be call by the Khmer people "a Jungle Khmer descent."

Dear Sir,

Please do not play with politics if you are not clear about its.

Let the story go on and on. Samdech Hun Sen has a good will to receive old friend who has trouble in his life. Ex PM Thaksin is a victim of the 2006 coup d'État by the military in Thailand.

In Thaksin era, Cambodia had avery good relationship with Thailand compare to nowaday. There are a lot of trouble between the two countries. Example: In these years, Thai black clad army had killed many innocent Cambodians along the border by saying that they were illegally crossing the border. The border of Dangrek Mountain is slopes and jungle who can exactly define the border line.

Thais must show more humanitarian way of life to Cambodians if Thais are our good neighbours. In contrary, Cambodians show better action towards the Thais who are illegally crossing the border.

The claiming of land around Preah Vihear Temple is baseless by using unilateral drawn map or the so called co-ownership of the Temple.

The Preah Vihear Temple was built by Khmer Empire Kings around
the 10th century before the existence of Siam or Thai Kingdom in 14th century by trespassing Khmer Land from Sokhotey (Sukhothai?) down to the now border along the Dangrek Hill Chain.

And last year, the Thai extremists are claiming for more Cambodian Land of 4.6sqkm near the Preah Vihear Temple. Or at least they want to co-own the Temple. They make trouble to the Unesco World Heritage Committee a lot of headaches in the past two or three years.

After the Hagues' International ourt of Justice (ICJ) verdict the Temple and the surrounding Land in favour of Cambodia on 15 June 1962 There was a time of ten years 1962-1972 for the appearl but the Thai Governments (the looser) were shameful to be in the ICJ. In 1963there were fierce fighting between the Cambodian army chasing the crooked Thais from the Temple because the Thais never respect the ICJ's decision.

In 1963, there were trouble in bangkok as it is now by their wanting to own the Temple. The omni-power of the Temple would defeat the Thai extremists as it was in 1963.

These are the fact that I want to tell you and thank you for your kind reading and understanding the real situation of the history.

100% support your idea, the PM of Cambodia. We must give Mr. Thaksin a change.
Cambodia is a multi races Kingdom, we have Khmer, Mon, Chen, Cham, Chweah, Lao, Koy, Phnong, Stieng, Kloeng (Indian), Kola (Karen), Yala and of course Caucasian Khmer (half Khmer half Caucasian).

Hmmmm...it reminds me of that prophecy that every Khmer child knows about the fall of Bangkok, the vanishing of Phnom Penh, and glorious happy times in Angkor.

Yeah, and according to Khmer Constitution, article 1, chapter 3, paragraph 4 stated that "Siam suck Hun Sen #@#*"
