It has recently come to my attention that a UK Resident, one Fabrizio Cammisecra, has defaced Tuol Sleng museum in Phnom Penh with graffiti in an attempt to promote his so called graffiti “art”.

My wife is a Cambodian National who lost many relatives to the Khmer Rouge. We will always hold in our hearts those who died in agony inside of S21. The selfish, self-promoting act of vandalism committed by Mr. Cammisecra is an open insult to the memory of the victims of the atrocity, to Cambodians and Khmers and to right thinking people world-wide.
I hope you will assist in contacting local, as well as Cambodian and international authorities and groups so that this individual is prosecuted and publicly shamed as a deterrent to others who might seek to exploit the memory of the innocent souls who perished in the terrible days of the Khmer Rouge regime. I also hope that Mr. Cammisecra receives a permanent blacklist from Cambodia.

that's not vandalism you idiot. This is not a graffiti attack?? he's not drawing any gagster sign onto the wall. He depicted the picture of the victim from the mug shot. This way it's make the room more intense when a person walk into that room.

That is graffiti and vandalism. The guy spray painted on the wall of the museum, so it is a graffiti and vandalism. He defaced the wall and vandalized it. Some pictures appeared to be vandalized but not sure because mugshot can manipulated the pics. However, writing on walls anywhere is a graffiti and vandalism.
Well... one way to find out if Fabrizio Cammisecra has committed vandalism at Tuol Sleng museum is to define the word vandalism! Vandalism define as willful or malicious destruction or defacement of public or private property. According to merriam-webster.com
So according to the definition Tuol Sleng museum is not the property of Fabrizio Cammisecra therefore he has committed a crime!
In California punishment for vandalism is varied. Fines range from $1,000 to $50,000, and imprisonment can range from a short time in county jail to state prison terms according to hubpages.com

Use that pea brain of yours , since when did graffiti on private property become legal especially one that is a symbol of crime against humanity. What if people came and painted graffiti in your house, woild that make yo live more "intensely" in your house. Bullshit artist.
I could not access the link and see what are those "graffiti". will be in PP next week and wil surely check with my own eyes. Thousand of people died with imaginable suffering in this place. It is an insult to their memories if anything else than respect for their souls is being promoted in that sacred place and the worse would be for one own benefit and for so called art. How would this guy feels (if he had feelings) we takes the bones of his mother (after her being raped/murdered)to use as drums stick to promote modern music?

all of your mother fucker think this is an insult to the dead when all he paint was the picture of one of the victim who had died there? If he's doing this painting is such as illegal during the day in front of all the people and security as you can see that picture is taking in daylight why didn't he get arrested?? You think Khmer police would let him go ruining this place up like that?? if you come into my house and draw/paint a picture of my family on the wall, you're my hero, but if you paint some other shit, you'll get you head shot.

Let's consider some facts:
1. The outer walls of S21 have a substantial amount of spray art and name tags, references to God (But the major religion in Cambodia is Buddhism)
2. I regularly see many folk urinate on the side of S21 during the day. One particular night I witnessed a man defecating beside the southern corner.
3. At night it is turned in to a secure car parking area.
It seems this guy was naive. His paint has been removed. I think it's time to move on.
