Thai military commanders have informed Cambodian military commanders that 5,000 Thais are planning to march to Preah Vihear temple on the 2nd anniversary of the inscription of the temple as a world heritage site, reports Kampuchea Thmey.
Preah Vihear, which was awarded to Cambodia by the International Court of Justice in 1962, was inscribed by Unesco as a world heritage site on 7th July 2008. A week later, hundreds of Thai troops invaded the surrounding areas and have stayed in the area ever since.
Gen. Chea Dara (pictured), Cambodian Deputy Commander-in-Chief and Chief of Operations of the Preah Vihear Command, told Kampuchea Thmey that he had warned the Thai side to contain the protesters on the Thai side of the border, saying that the Cambodian side will not tolerate any protesters who crossed on to the Cambodian side of the border. He said he had ordered all his commanders to do what it takes to defend Cambodian sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Mr. Yim Pim, commander of Division 3 in the area, said, this time, his troops are ready to defend Cambodian territory with weapons, not riot gears. He warned that if Thai protesters crossed into Cambodian territory, armed clashes are unavoidable.

What are the actions pursued after the day of condemnation for thai's invasion?
Khmers have been mistreated by Thai's army for quite some time,abusing refugees with force action pushing khmers back through Dangrek Mountain.What's about UNHCR?Killing khmers all along.

Talking about shooting down those jet fighters, Cambodian Army have no ability of doing it . They are wayyyyyy behind technology . If they have a misile that can shoot down a jet fighter , I doubt if they know exactly how to use it .

Chea Dara and Srey Doek are cowards. They always bark but when the Thais encroached on Khmer borders they never do anything but begged the Thais to leave. This is the result of appointing army leaders who can't read and write and never go to military schools.
Thailand never stop bothering khmer as long as we are still having poor military, i think our ground troops are ok, but how can we defend Thai Airforce..? this is why Thailand keep look down on us, Khmer's military has to come up with something strong with air defense! Missile Air defense!
Thai should march to Nanchao instead.
Cambodia should plan the protest every year for the hand over of Khmer Kampuchea Krom to Vietnam. It is so unjust for the French to do that... Anybody notice the difference in spelling chea last name? Ki media been spelling it Dara but on his stupid military uniform it's spelled Tara.

All present Cambodian military leaders never attend any military school. Ke Kimyan, Ku Kim, Tea Banh, Pol Saroeun, Mol Roeub, Hing Bunheang, Chea Dara, Chea Morn, Srey Doek etc, etc. They got appointed because they were former Khmer Rouge soldiers or because they are loyal to Hun Sen and Vietnam. I challenge anyone to tell me which military school they came from? Even Hok Lundy, Mok Chito, Heng Pov, Neth Savoeun never attended police training school, yet they are holding the highest position in the police hierarchy.
These people, if they got some training, they only got it after they have been appointed already.
