After Thai media has released many articles about Hun Sen’s order to release the trio Thais arrested and my strong critics below, on Tuesday 24 August 2010, the Press and Quick Reaction Unit of Hun Sen, mouthpieced by Tith Sothea claimed that the Thai media was disseminating the wrong information. He said that Hun Sen had no rights to order the release of those trio thais because he had no right to interfere in court’s decision.
Personally, I think it may be true because everyone knows that in Cambodia, most of CPP’s officials are just like a post and they must listen to Hun Xen or they are removed. Everything must be in the name of Hun Xen, i.e. personality cult of Hun Xen. He is above the law and he is with everything from national conciliation to building bridge, house, and toilet. We can see his name with these things everywhere throughout the country. Most importantly, such a thing has already happened last year when Hun Xen ordered to released Siwarak, a thai spy, after he was arrested by Cambodian authority accusing him of sending Thaksin’s personal flight information to the Thai govt. However, whether he ordered to release the Thai trio or not, as long as they are released, we still condemn Hun Xen as a useless person for his failure to protect and save his people who were arrested for similar reasons and who are now jailed and abused in Thailand.

PS: It’s amazing to hear Tith Sothea weekly defending Hun Sen nowadays while in the past during his time working for VOA he was the one who criticized Hun Xen and esp. he liked to interview someone included me who is a critics of the Cambodian govt.

Nothing to be surprised about PM Hun Sen orders this to be done, that to be moved...etc.
Cambodia has always been a country ruled by a one-man tradition. We can see ample evidences of this characteristic from Sihanouk, to Lon Nol, to Pol Pot and now to Hun Sen.
The fault is with the Cambodian people as a whole and nothing will change until the people of Cambodia decide that enough is enough.
One can ask when that will happen. Well, I don't know neither do I have the answer. It may never happen in my entire life knowing how the Cambodian people think and react to dictatorship.

No surprise at all. It's very easy to buy intellectuals to be your Servants. That 's why Pol Pot hated intellectuals.
Tit Sothea becomes a Parrot of Hun Sen. he is a Stereotype of intellectuals sold to the dictator for a post and money.Like other many intellectuals at the Council of Ministers and other ministries.

It's actually not that "The fault is with Cambodian people as a whole". Do you remember?: In 1993 Khmer people did not like Hun Xen's regime, they then voted for the Royal Party, but unfortunately Khmer people got pissed off by the Royal Party. Khmer people are very loyal to their laders, but their are disloyal towards them. The blame should be fiercely thrown at King Sihanouk.

Lon Nol is a hero on that eara and he was ranked just 3 stars to control he whole country arms and the last time before that bastard hun sen group begged yuon to invade Cambodia, he was offerred 4 stars. Not 3 silly guys with 5 stars as this era.

Monkeys like Hun Xen, Heng Xamrin, Chea Xim, and many more of the clan did not beg Yuons to invade Cambodia. It was Yuons themselves who planned the invasion. They used these monkeyes as their chess pawns to fool the world opinions into thinking that these monkeys with the help of Yuons liberated Khmer people from the KR's massacre. Doing so, both the Yuons and the monkeys share benefits equally.
Why did the Yuons invaded Cambodia? Again, the Yuons wanted to get revenged of the KRs who killed about 500 Yuons villagers at Ha Tien village in spring 1978.
