People's Alliance for Democracy leader Sondhi Limthongkul on Thursday reported himself at the Crime Suppression Division to fight charges related to the airport seizure in 2008 by the yellow shirts.
"I come today to give my statement to police as I have been charged for terrorism and myriad offences - this is going to be a long story," he said upon arriving at the CSD.
Sondhi said he suspected police trying to throw frame-up charges at him and the yellow shirts. He vowed to fight by filing counter lawsuits against police to the full extent of the law.
Metropolitan Police deputy commissioner Maj General Amnuay Nimmano once tried to charge him for treason, but the court already ruled the charge groundless, he said, adding he was seeking the inquiry into Amnuay's abuse of power.
The petition against Amnuay was lodged with the National Anti Corruption Commission, he said.
In regard to the defence strategy, he said some yellow shirts, wanted by police, would hand themselves over while the others would refuse to report to police.
For those acting in defiance of the police summonses, this is to test whether the courts would agree to approve the warrants of arrest because it appears police have named the suspects at their whims and not evidence, he said.
The police named 13 yellow shirts for terrorism charge but summoned a larger number of suspects for questioning on frivolous offences, he said.
PAD co-leader Chamlong Srimuang too showed up to report to police. He did not talk with reporters.

Why KI talks so much about Siam ?
Siamese or Thai are currently the best and friendly people in the region no matter what the past was. Now a YUON are the ruddest and worst people on earth by take over Cambodian land, killing Cambodian people and using Cambodian troops to fight Thai for Preah Vihear temple. So Cambodian will loss everything land to YUON and friendship to Thai. What are the Khmer people thinking about YUON today? YUON saved Khmer people from the Khmer Rouge's killing fields, actually the Khmer Rouge was armed, trained and supported by Viet-cong but the YUON government has no controlled over Khmer Rouge's leaders and movements. So the mixed up leaded the Khmer Rouge soldiers to fought against Khmer-YUON border. The Vietnamese Invasion began because the Khmer Rouge broke their promised by not killing all the Khmer population. Now YUON control everything in Cambodia and Khmer people keep quiet, silence and ignoring their own loss of land and suffering to the ends of the Khmer population in the region because Thai will not allow Khmer to work in their country any more and Khmer cannot work in Vietnam eighter because the Vietnamese very strict rules. So is Preah Vihear worth anything for Khmer people to die for and hatre by Thai people? What is Khmer opinions toward Thai and YUON?

Dear 11:34pm if it starts to question Mr.Sondhy they should questioning Abhe-Shit and the one eye yellow shit Bigger boss as well, he is the the hihger leader who brought the trouble to our border, without his order there is no one else in the Siamese country dare to such a thing. i dislike the culture that gives too much respect or credit to the elderly. it should be the rule of law only, because the way of the elderly is too much work, too much headache, too outdated, too stone age, too behind time, too old fashioned, too boring, too much trouble or problem, etc..., really! i think cambodia and thailand should lessen the way of the elderly a little so younger generation can learn from each other and live a better life without so much hatred, violence, steal lands back and forth from each other, etc, etc... wake up, people. ignorance, like education and knowledge know no boundary as well, reallly!
