STOP Cambodian American Refugee Deportations, Family Unity Campaign Summer 2010

Targeting: The President of the United States, The U.S. Senate, The U.S. House of Representatives, ... The President of the United States, The U.S. Senate, The U.S. House of Representatives, John Morton (DHS Assistant Secretary) and Janet Naplitano (DHS Secretary)
Started by: DE GUERRILLA

This petition is to raise awareness of the climate of Fear and Paranoia that Immigration & Custons Enforcement (ICE) has created in Cambodian-American communities across the United States, AND to call attention to the 47 Fathers, Husbands, Brothers, and Community Leaders recently torn apart from their families, to be deported at the end of August, and in September.

These Refugees have been residents in America since before they were 12 years old, and have very little memories of Cambodia. Many are unfamiliar with the language and culture of Cambodian society. Unjustly deporting these Refugees will drive them and their U.S. Citizen families into poverty.

Since the passage of the Antiterrorism and Effective Death Penalty Act (AEDPA) and the Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act (IIRAIRA), both in 1996, deportations have increased exponentially. These laws replaced a DESCRETIONARY SYSTEM with a MANDATORY DETENTION & DEPORTATION SYSTEM, and expanded the grounds of Deportation to include MINOR OFFENSES. The 1996 laws are also RETROACTIVE. All 47 Khmer-American Refugee detainees have ALREADY SERVED TIME for PAST crimes. HOWEVER under current immigration law they are "Criminal Aliens" and are deportable. This is INHUMANE & UNJUST. DOUBLE PUNISHMENT IS NOT THE ANSWER!

The community is stepping up and demanding CHANGE! It is 2010 and detentions and deportations are dramatically increasing. We must act NOW for LOVE, JUSTICE, and FAMILY UNITY!

Join us! Take action and make a difference! Join the Family Unity Campaign! STOP the Deportations of Cambodian American Refugees!

Why? Cambodia is your home, not America. Do not be afraid of your own country? We would rather die in our own country than outside.
Come my brothers and sisters, try develop our country together. America doesn't belong to you but you are belong to Srok Khmer. If everyone, especially good guys go out, who take care our land? Come back and help and witness the development, see cambodia change...................ancestor country

I believe those BAD Cambodian-American gangsters should be locked up in Jails in the U.S and should not be deported back to Camboda because, in Cambodia, these bad guys will team up with young-innocent Khmer generations to commit crimes that they did in America and can ruin Cambodian society inside Cambodia.

Do you want Cambodia to be a better country, free of crimes, do you? So lock'em up in jails right here in America.

Well,

I don't really see the point of this petition. If you are here long enough to become citizen why don't you? You don't want to go to school to learn English and get a job and rather waste your precious times committing crimes instead, I think you deserve to be deported back to your old country, I don't really care either cambodia or another country. If you're are a US citizen then nobody will deport you. if you are a good legal alien resident noby will deport you either. The US deport only useless, good-for-nothing ex-cons back to Cambodia. Life is too good in the US for them so we should let them taste the hardship in Cambodia that most of us went through when we were young and living a hard life then.

Hey Siam go back and relearn your history. Khmer is your ancestor so don't insult them! How proud can you be? Proud that your nation are the thief of the country throughout the whole century? Proud that your country is infected with whore and transgenders? I guess that is why American love you so much for you people are a slave to their cock!

Anonymous said...

Deport all the scumbags to where they were rooted.Keep only the good ones. They were giving the chance to come, live and get education in a free world but they chose crime instead. In a way it's better for them to return to the land of their ancestors. There is no future for them to stay in jail here ,plus they may get screw in the ass by the inmates.

Do not sign this petition! you do the crime you get what u deserved! If they to stupid to get a U.S Citizenship they should get deported!

Anonymous said...

Please, not stop, continue.

Cambodia needs more fluently English speaking people and they are the perfect person.

In USA, they are piece of shit, useless, bring them to Cambodia, ask them to teach Englis speaking and they would be useful for humanity.

Anonymous said...

Teach English? I bet these crack heads can't even correct their own grammar.

Anonymous said...

How about stop committing a crime and learn how to become a citizen!

Anonymous said...

Yeah bring them to teach ghetto english in Cambodia...LOL. I bet Khmer in Cambodia speaks English more correctly than them HS drops out.

I strongly support US deportation of all Khmer Refugees back to their home land. They were the waste and heavy on the earth of United States of America, which is the free and the opportunity they never want to get or accepted. I strongly vote in favorite to deport them all back to their poverty home country call Kampuchea.

Anonymous said...

Agree with most comments above.
After all why should we support them criminals? I would rather see death sentences or deportation then waist our tax money keeping them in jail here. Matter of facts them convic should only cost tax payer a bullet to the head. And let their pathetic family worry about their burrier or cremation.

They had their chance just like the rest of us. They blew it and they should deserve the consequences.

Anonymous said...

One day if America no longer supper power, what they will thnk...Those guy like that I also don't want them to be my country men. If we die, we die in motherland, this is where we belong to and this is your ancestor land. Not run away and blame others remotely.....Think yourselves, what did you do for the montherland? Good call.

1:23 AM,

I am with you 100%. You have spoken very well on the subject which I have nothing to add.

Very good points you have raised, my friend.

Anonymous said...

1:56 AM,

I am totally in agreement with you!

3:31 AM,

Don't be stupid. These criminals can learn to speak Khmer in Cambodia. It is not that difficult to learn it.

They are Cambodians by the very blood they have in their veins and arteries so they can learn the Khmer language.

They should thank the US for deporting them to Cambodia or they will rot in the US jails.

These criminals are also killers. You want them in the US, you can go and ask the families of the victims these criminals killed or inflicted pain upon and see what they will say about your idea.

No way, I will sign this stupid petition.

Hun Sen gonna give them a Kapik food stamp card as soon as they get to Cambodia so these deportee don't have to eat Prohok, All they do is cross border to Thailand and buy Kapik and fuck some Thai Kateuy.

Anonymous said...

All of you MotherFuckers who is in favor of deportation, you all can suck my dick. You heartless motherfuckers. You don't even know about that law and you already jump into conclusion.

Anonymous said...

We Cambodian Americans need to encourage other Cambodians Americans to start the naturalization process right away.

For those who do get sent back, Hun Sen should give them rifles to start hunting Siem dogs running loose in the border area. These guys should use their street prowess learned in America to hunt down Siem dogs.

It's funny how negative everyone's comment is about the petition. Cambodian Americans are not the only illiterate ethnic, many White Americans are worst than those that came from another country. How many uneducate White Americans are there in the United States? Have anyone listen to the rap music or watch television and hear the slang that are being used??? If everyone is so judgemental about Cambodia Americans being illiterate and needing to return to the homeland due to small crimes then Irish Americans, Italian Americans, Afrian American, Spanish Americans along with the people who came to the North America need to return to the country where their ancestor came from as well. You ought to be ashame of yourself because before this land became the United States of America, it had belong to Native Indians. This is the reason why world peace will never happen unless the human race become extinct.

To all the deportation supporters & trash tankers, before you speak take a look at yourself, are you not worthy to be a human!!!! If you're human, you would feel pain & understand what these people have gone through. We all make mistakes & need a second chance! Now, don't f**n tell me that you've never made a mistake in your life, bullshit!!!! Stop the hatred & educate yourself on human rights!!!! BTW, I am a proud Cambodian American who support my brothers & sisters regardless of their past.

Anonymous said...

I hear they're going to send a U.S. citizen back to Cambodia next week. The guy has two kids and was arrested on minor drug charges. He was just released from prison after serving his term of 5 years. So what next? Are they going to send blacks to Africa? And 2nd generation Irish descendents back to Ireland?

Anonymous said...

Before you support deportation, maybe you ought think about what mistakes that you have made in the past. Maybe it's big, maybe it's small, but it's something to be counted for to get you send back to a country that you're not familiar of. You could be next. Some of those people did those crimes 10 or 20 yrs ago. They have already been punished and served their times in jail. These people have turned their life around and help turn the lives of others in the right path. They finished school, got a degree, have a job, and have a family. Guess what? some of those people turned out to be a better human being than the rest of you heartless people who doesn't care or know the feeling of breaking families apart. Maybe this was the reason why we all came running to America, to be together with our family from harms way. You wouldn't like it if someone took your father away for what he did that you don't know of. Don't call yourself Cambodian if you support deportation.
