The Royal Group (TRG), a Cambodian corporation in property and infrastructure development, has unveiled a masterplan to develop Koh Rong into Asia's first environmental resort destination.
The plan, which aims to transform the island into the next ‘Asian Riviera’, will cover elements such as infrastructural development of an airport, a marina, a port and roads, as well as resorts, hotels, golf courses, shopping, restaurants, bars and entertainment venues.
TRG has been granted a 99-year lease for the development, which has a five-year schedule for the first phase and eventual completion in 25 years’ time.

Why are we destroying each other? Shouldn't we help our own kind to do better? Let's support and correct each other for the betterment for us all. If we continue the mindset for de-value each other then we all de-vulued/worthless people... Let's have some sense... I am saying we can't look out for the nation's interest... but let shape each other for the right course if there any wrongs. Not just come out and swinging... This is where thing gets sticky. Asia revera, but where are the employments extending to Cambodian people in and outside of the country? Engineering field? Hotel? Motel? or Restaurant Manager and staff needed? None, except very very few. If so where is the public's website to apply and how Mr. Kith Meng is going to accommodate them in term of accommodate their life during this transition? You have to look after our people and making sure they share this wealth too to be fair. If jobs only offering to the people of the country that supply you with money than you will never look at as a good man. Only a suc.er or an a..hole. Other countries, you'll help to help reaching to many people as much as possible too, because you owe Cambodian country and her people your ETHIC.

cambodia must be developed in modern infrastructure, skyscrapers, food production, etc... we have to get out of that third world status!
We have to support each other. If we don't, Cambodia will owned by foreigners and Cambodians will be their slaves in our own country. We have to hire foreigners now mixing with Cambodians because we don't have enough skilled employees to fill out all spots until we have learned. But this will take some time and Cambodians must go to school...
