Members of Cambodia’s 600,000-strong Muslim community are set to celebrate the end of the Islamic holy month of Ramadan, which draws to a close today.
During the entire month of Ramadan – which began on August 11 – Muslims are required to fast from dawn until sunset.
Sa Lesh, a Cham Muslim and hakim at the Nurunnaim Mosque in the city’s Russey Keo district, explained that Ramadan is the holiest of months in the Islamic calendar, and is intended to cleanse devoted Muslims of all sins.
“Allah has taught us through the Qur’an to make good commitments and to share food with the poorest of people,” he said.
“Why did Allah teach us to do that? Because he wants us to understand about suffering and hunger… so we will distribute food and other belongings to the poor.”
He added that elders, the infirm, and children under age 15 were not required to fast.

I may have sin!who care abot Jesus Christ, I can go to Islam for cleaning.
A person with sin can be forgiven by gods, but he cannot forgive himself once he wakes up to the horror of his sin.
Only when he understands that horror and change himself can he be truly clean. Thus, neither Allah, Jesus Christ, nor Buddha can help you my friend.
Respect people of whomever God, they want to worship and you will be happy.
Yea.. No CCP fuck with Muslim Islam Khmer. They will take out CCP like shit
yes shit. I dont see any government take over any Khmer Islam Land.
1:28
You are a very wise person. I couldn't have said it better myself. I hope everyone out there understand.
How can one forgive oneself for having taken another person's life?
If God is the giver of life, which he is, only God can forgive your transgression.
This is a flaw concept in Buddhism. God has the books of life and death. And he judges the living and the dead according to their deeds.
For without blood (pure) there is no forgiveness of sin.
If a leopard can change its spots, then one can make oneself pure without spot of defilement.
You can assume yourself clean but the best of your spotless is a defilement in the sight of a Holy God. Only his approved remedy is accepted--that is the sacrificial blood of his spotless Lamb, Jesus. This he said you can receive the forgiveness of sins.
Poor you,
it's OK if you need god to feel safe,
but if god exists, he would be lazy, very old and incompetent
because he never came to help us allowing people with bad will do bad thing every day every where..
Dear 3.24 PM,
You don't believe because you don't understand, you don't understand because you don't learn.
When you don't understand about God you are incompetent to make comments about Him.
God is powerful and almighty, He is working in Cambodian people's hearts everyday as I have seen more and more Cambodian people have come to Him and accepted Him as their personal Savior.
I was the one who hated Jesus and said bad things about Him, at last I am His and He is mine when I realized that He had died for me.
I never hated the Buddhist people, I always encouraged them not to break selbram (the 5 precepts of Buddha).
God respects our freedom of choice, He never forced anyone of us to believe in Him. We are free to believe in ourselves and help ourselves out, but when we found that we are not able to do so we can turn to Him at anytime He is always there for us.
The Book Revelation 3:20 of the Bible says:
"LISTEN! I STAND AT THE DOOR AND KNOCK; IF ANYONE HEAR MY VOICE AND OPENS THE DOOR, I WILL COME INTO HIS HOUSE AND EAT WITH HIM, AND HE WILL EAT WITH ME"
Is it beautiful? He will eat with you and you will eat with Him.
How wonderful I am to know God and accepted Him as my personal Savior. I don't know why I always wanted to share Him with you.
Maybe because He is a living God.
6:38 there is no such thing. I've seen Cambodian people prayed every single day including my parents during the Pol Pot era while 1.5 millions being slaughter. All of the victims were praying just before their throat were being slashed. Tell me, were was your so called "God."
Perhaps, he was busy for the meeting?
Say what you want....psychologically, God is only in your head.
If you believe in it, do so at your own discretions. You shouldn't involve anyone or try to convert them.
Science is my god. He is here (visible) and he have proven to me what he can do.
