Cambodia is a land full of injustice against the poor real Cambodians who are the legitimate owners of the entire country.
Cambodians suffer without end from one regime to the next. Cambodian officials who are working for all the regimes in Cambodia usually have no conscience and compassion for their fellow citizens. They allow themselves to be the ready-to-serve instruments of the uncaring government to inflict pain after pain on the very people to whom they belong.
It is better to be born as a Vietnamese in Cambodia since at least as a Vietnamese you can get full protection from both the Vietnamese and the Cambodian governments.

When it comes to land issues, i have never seen any poor, weak Cambodians won the case against any rich, powerful, heartless, and brainless, high ranking government official.
Cambodia is a shit place to live!
These types of injustices aren't new to Cambodia. During the Sangkum Reastr Niyum era, it was members of the royal family and the nobles who thought everything in Cambodia was theirs and felt entitled to anything. During the Lon Nol era, it was the same elitist nobles & their families plus the several corrupt military generals who hoarded US aid money. Nowadays, it's this intricate web of intermarried families of CPP politicians + tycoons + military & police generals. For Cambodia, it just seems that a culture of lords, vassals, peasantry & feudalism is still strongly prevalent to this day.
