Yes, tell that to Sam Rainsy! If he still so coward, always run to hide in France on any sign of trouble, his political career is over, and he will continue to have misfortune all his life. Tell him to learn to stand his ground, be a man.

11:29 - if Rainsy stands on his ground in Cambodia - he would be in Jail! That is the only ground that HS has for Rainsy - so question to you 11:29 are you willing to stand on your ground if you in Rainsy's shoes? If your answer is yes, you are better than Rainsy, than you should go and run his party! If you answer is no - than don't complain...dead politicient is worth nothing...only the one that stay a live - that will have another tomorrow to restratigize the new avenue for action...
Stop making excuses for Sam Rainsy. He is a chicken Sissy period. If you are so afraid, don't be in politic. If you want to lead a movement, you must willing to go to jail or give up your life if you have to. Otherwise, he should get accounting job in France and stay there. Nelson Mendela, Ghandi, Martin Luther Kings, all face persecution and were sent to jail many times, but they never run away from their supporters.

I am not making excuses for anybody - this is a nature of Khmer politic - since when Khmer leaders are willing to die for Khmer people - King father, Lon Nol, Pol Pot, etc...There is no such leader exist in Cambodian rights now! The current leader in Cambodia is now all the same...the people just seatle to who will give them benefit the most (event just a box of noodle, and 50 kg of rice - for the present time). Than who are we to blaim...need to build human capacity and efficacy from the ground up and this will take time, but it has to start from education - start from elimentary school age...build nation take time...not until the citizen well feed, well secure, and well educated or otherwise...one leave the foundation of building a good society empty....attack the root cost of a weak society, than the strong society will take care itself!
