A ceremony was held at a cemetery in Ha Tien town, southern Kien Giang province, on Dec. 20 to bury the remains of 109 Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts who had died in Cambodia.
The remains were repatriated during the 2009-2010 dry season, raising the number of the remains found in Cambodia and reburied at the Ha Tien cemetery for fallen soldiers to 1,464.
The repatriation and reburial of the remains of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers have demonstrated the Party and State’s tribute to those volunteer soldiers for sacrifices they had made to fulfil their international duties.

Those soldiers were not volunteers but forced to come in Cambodia to annex Cambodia to the INDOCHINA FEDERATION but it is failed now..

December,1985 Takeo downtown where the convoys of VN troops stationed overnigth there before heading to Western part of Cambodia. I had a chance to talk with the couples of VN troops aged between 20-24, who stopped by my foodstall. They asked me if I could hide them because they didn't want to go the fight. Two hours later several other VN troops were arrested by VN military police for sneaking out of uniform.
They were not volunteers.
The emphasis on 'volunteers' and 'international duty' was mainly a smokescreen to conceal Hanoi's real ambitions and intentions over Indochina, as well as to mislead the Soviet Bloc into believing that 'socialist Vietnam' was fighting for the cause of socialist fraternity and international socialism, when the reality is that it is simply a fight to expand Vietnam's sphere of influence in both strategic and territorial terms; it is an extension of the same aim that has been pursued for over 700 years.
Not surprising that even Bangkok, Singapore, Malaysia etc. could see through this facade in Hanoi's long term regional ambition, which is a little more than its historical animosity and fear of China demand.

VietCong volunteer soldiers in Cambodia?? What a Fucking Joke?! They were forced by the Ho Chi Minh government to invade Cambodia. When Cambodian resistance fighters grows bigger and bigger...they started to
feel the heat. That's when they withdrawl their troops back and installed the Monkey CPP government with no college education to run Cambodia so Hanoi can easily manipulate them.
It was a friendly request of our SOLE GOD KING SIHANOUK and then the viet cong AND vietnamese volunteered themselves in .who was else , yes and then HUN SEN

IS IT POSSIBLE THAT THE VIETS HAD MADE HONEST MISTAKE TO PUT SOME
YEAKSA HEADS ( KBAL YEAK ) AND
OTHER ANGKOR AREA VALUABLE OBJECTS
IN COFFINS AND SENT ALONG WITH THOSE SOLDIER'S REMAINS TO VIETNAM?
SO MANY YEAKS AND NEAK TA'S HEADS
WERE MISSING.
