The yellow-shirt supporters of the People’s Alliance for Democracy (PAD), gathering on Ratchadamneoen Nok road, on Saturday issued a statement condemning Cambodian troops for killing Thai soldier and villager.
The statement, read out by Maj Gen Chamlong Srimuang, said the exchange of fire between Thai and Cambodian soldiers at the border area near Preah Vihear temple on Friday and on Saturday morning, killing Thai soldier and villagers and injured many others, was an act of invasion of Thailand’s sovereignty.
PAD claimed that the military clash took place because the government did not comply with the yellow-shirt people group’s demands.

DAP-news reported that up to 32 thai soldiers were killed. It might be a bit exaggerated. Thai might loss up to 22 soldiers and Cambodia 4 including one tourist according to Phnom Penh Post. Actually, I think both sides are trying to hide the exact number of human casualty.

The only way to stop the Viet aggression is a complete change in the government. Not even the next election win can change much. The CPP have rooted themselves in every facet of the government. Firstly I am mentally feeling sorry for all the innocent deaths.
Second, Siamese might be poliSickally used the same tactic as Youn simply did on KR, in order to fully invade us in 78's. Youn repeatedly had attack us in 77's and enventually allow going inside Youn's soil and killing the innocent civilians.
Last, I am personally confessing that I extremely hate WAR, because almost all of my family were death of it. SenVarman and his CPP should be sent the letter before the clashes, unfortunately they are evidently not only Khmers, but also not human beings!
