Very good story. This will informed the lazy ass Khmer in the USA to know Themself why their family came here in the US?
I knew phatry while going through college. We are around the same age. I am glad to see him take a leadership role in cambodia as it is time that new blood take the helm. He has my support.

I don't think Khmer living in Cambodia will accept him. He is not Khmer and doesn't struggle like Khmer living in Cambodia. He will always be foreigner to them. However, he can always be an activist cleaning after the Cambodian government's mess - Joot Kdeth ouy Kae.
Great video Derek. Thanks for having the courage to go after your dreams. We need more Khmer people like you in the world...educated,articulate, determine, and goal-oriented. Best of luck on your journey and cannot wait to read your book.
