He is totally white washed....

What is his background? He looks like an opportunist in this picture.

Try to work for Hun many years ago, but it didn't work out, took time to write a book called
"Golden Bones".

Without the white washed, this guy is nothing, but a taxi driver in New York City.

Mr. Golden Bone or Mr.SHOW OFF. He has done nothing for Cambodia. His picture makes me laugh. Do research on him you will see. I don't need to buy his book.He is the most weird cambodian.

Is'nt nice to have about 1 of million Cambodian/American living in US like H.E Sichan Siv became US Ambaasador to the United Nations and not collected food stamps...?

Hopefully one day,one of our kids (Cambodian/American) will become US President as Obama came from Nigeria,Africa.

Even OBAMA mother collected food stamp.
The poor people can become a leader
or leader of the world. The presidents
:Abraham Lincoln,Jimmy Carter,Obama
were/are poor and farmers.
Siv Sichan is not bad or a perfect person.
To be a wise man,all people should
learn from everybody, even good or bad;the good ones should keep it,but the bad ones just learn, not to follow their footsteps.

I have read Sichan Siv's book and his story of startring from zero and working hard and rising to become a diplomat for his adopted country is inspiring. He may be a 'Dandy' dresser but the man is to be respected for his personal strenght and determination.

People in Cambodia doesn't like him because they do not want to see Khmer living abroad become successful. When Khmer living abroad become a success story it is a external threat to them. The Vietnamese mentality kicks in and their interest is protected from people like Sichan Siv who sole purpose is to help Khmer.

"people like Sichan Siv who sole purpose is to help Khmer???"
My bottom!

I knew this guy since he arrived in the usa.

I haven't seen him help one single person from anywhere under the name "khmer" people.

All i have seen was so busy with a white chick and absorbed in new chic society...

Forget Sive Sichan, just a luck of him to get married with politician family network? that's all folk.
As the fact of matter, he couldn't apply for that job or don't even dream of it without inter circle hook it up...

I heard alot about a guy name Sichan Siv . He is one of those Khmer guys with a high education but , did he ever do anything to help Khmer people or Khmer Society besides himself and his family ? I heard of Mu Sochua , Theary Seng , Sam Rainsy and alot more but I never heard of a guy name Sichan Siv in that category .

I am not in Cambodia but I don't like that Sichan Siv guy either . I came to California in the mid 80s and I heard of that name by reading the book but I never heard of him helping any Khmer . Tell me if he has done anything to help Khmer people in or outside of Cambodia.
