Deputy Prime Minister Suthep Thaugsuban hoped Cambodia's Prime Minister Hun Sen would offer sympathy to the jailed Thai nationalist activist Veera Somkwamkid, who is in poor health by giving him a royal pardon to free from Prey Sar prison.
"I believe that Somdach Hun Sen (Cambodian Prime Minister) would understand his condition and would seek ways to help," Suthep told reporters.
Veera and his aide Ratree Pipattanapaiboon were arrested since December 29 near Sa Kaeow province's Ban Nong Chan while inspecting border disputed area together with other five activists including Democrat Party's lawmaker Panich Vikitsreth.

ask somdach hun sen to tell siem to have sympathy for khmer in siem jail as well. i doubt if he has the gut to do it

Let this Thai go home. Thailand give jobs to 200,000 Khmer working in Thailand. Your lovely Hun sen cannot provide enough jobs. You kill one Thai, Thai kill 10 Khmer. is it worth it? You can still protect border and temple while having humanitarian policy for a few people but not million Viet .
Why Siem deputy PM Suthep asks Samdeach Hun Sen to have sympathy for only Siem yellow shirt activist? how about Sam Rainsy? Suthep, do you give up your close ally SRP?
Sam Rainsy is Khmer, Hun Sen can not forgives him. If foreign citizen maybe Hun Sen does because he doesn't like real Khmer who don't have business with.
I am living in USA. I was sick due to the cold, too. There is no special for Veera. Keep him in Jail. Lord Buddha is punishing him.
There is no special for the person who committed the crime against poor people.

When the Siem military thugs shooting cluster bombs on Cambodian people and Khmer Phrea Vihear temple and does AH Suthep Thaugsuban ever brought up the word of "sympathy" to Cambodian people?
Just say no sympathy to Siem criminals and no to Siem naked aggression!
