I don't trust the guy who wrote this letter. He doesn't have to use profane words "Ah Cho Mas-siet.." The choice of words he uses showed that he's not a respectable character either !

see ki should not post such letter, just look at the letter and how the person used the words in this letters. How could they allowed the guy to stole so much money? come on, the letter is anonymous. Ki should declined to post such letter and stay above such thing. Now that former monk might be a bad guy, but this should not be a way to handle thing, the letter itself is trashy and very unprofessional.

An anonymous letter to smear another man reputation. Even KI itself admitted that it can't verify whether there's any truth or not. This is just to create hatred and animosity within our Khmer community. KI please use your good judgement. Don't post this kind of letter. Thank you.

I wonder why KI posted this trash mail in its Blog. This letter contains only cursing and swearing words, and depicted this writer as a very low class or Khmer saying "manuss Chhleuy, peal ott pouch ott ambo, or ott trokol. Primitive, etc.,". Cambodia has so many these kind of Khmers (Hun Sen, e.g.,) that is why we are known as very NOT Civilized people, we are so animals.
Even through this person speaks the truth, no body will believe him, because of his low class character. Let's take another example who is in the same clan like this person is Ly Diep. Ly Diep can fool only a few old ignorant Khmers, but many see him as a crazy Yuon spy. Because Ly Diep does not know how to use appropriate terms besides cursing.
And we should expect KI to keep its professionalism either, because KI has few members are extremely dumb. The smart ones post good articles but the dumb one, yep, we see one now.

Before I only heard about scandals of the Vietnamese Buddhist temples and their monks, now come to Khmer temples. A few months ago, I heard that Khmer Buddhist Temple in Dallas allowed a couple (husband and wife) to live in the Temple. The husband has a lot of money and he bought his wife a diamond on her birthday. He has so much money but the Khmer Buddhists who donated money cannot say a word.
I heard that California Buddhist temple faced problems about one group took care Temple money about 4 million dollars then disappeared, and another group demanded to know and then they were in court.
I heard about many more temple stories like the temple at Manassas, VA is being abused by a group of aka Khmer krom who refused to allow the Khmer Buddhists who donated their money to the Temple to know about their Temple's budget. They hide everything from the Khmer Buddhist people who are the ones who support the temple, then another new group created a new temple. Are they building the Temple to make money? Not even that I heard that Manassas monks were abused by the new caretaker who took over after the founder (old monk) died.
Many more stories I heard about.
The weird thing in Viet Buddhist temple, Viet Buddhist monk has a wife. Another Vietnamese woman run away from her white husband and her only one daughter to live and serve the Monk in Saigon. She didn't listen to her cry daughter. Another weird story that a witch Khmer monk in Paris does only snae and witchcraft.
Yes it's all about MONEY and GREEDY. They do business from the Temples.
lets forget about the doing business in the temple and just concentrate oh how the letter got to be posted in here with such a low grade writing. Of course temples around America are having issue with money and this due to the fact that there is a lot of money in the temple and the people that are running those temples do not have the system to control it. If you look at the churches worldwide, it is a big business and they have a lot of money, but they seem to control it well. The reason that they capable to control their money well in the church , because everyone that work in the church is on a payroll, including the priest. They know how much they are going to get pay, so they don't have to steal and so on. In a temple, no one is on a payroll and they don't have a payroll, so in return everyone is looking at a donation box and hoping to get some or get all of it.

I never trust Khmer Krom, to be khmer; because, most of them married Vietnamese speaking Vietnamese, wearing custom like Vietnamese even speaking khmer sound like Vietnamese singing.
it is the beauty of freedom of the press and expression. The main purpose of the media is to share all information with the public. The information posting is subject to different interpretation of the individuals and not the responsible of the media.
Whether it is based on facts or fabrication, the public would not aware at first if the KI did not bring it to the attention.

For you as a journalist, you need to have a gut to as whoever that wrote this letter to unmask himself.
