I support your realistic idea too.
Vietnam has so many tricks to destroy Cambodia. The puppet just follows its master.
For instance, when the puppet government accused Sam Rainsy of committing the crime for removing some junk border posts, that accusation was happened only after the very high ranking Vietnam's official "inspected" Cambodia.
Now, while Sam Rainsy is in exile, he has made the world especially the EU understands deeply about the real situation in Cambodia.
So, in order to stop Sam Rainsy from spreading the news about Vietnam's bad intention, Vietnam needs to put Sam Rainsy in the cage.
Unless this puppet stupid government officially exonerates Sam Rainsy of those alleged crime and reinstates his parliamentary immunity first, Sam Rainsy must not go back to Cambodia to get into Vietnam's trap.

According to Puttumneay, in the aftermath of the death Sdach Thmil (XIHANOUK or may be Sdach HUN XEN, both give our land to YUON and then allow Yuons to settle in the rest ), the civil war between the difference groups of enemies will burst out in SROK KHMER.

The King has no interest of celebration while his country is under threat of flooding. It's Yuon/CPP set up to bring Rainsy into Cambodia and to stop his anti-Vietnamese/CPP. Furthermore Madam Do Moi Bun Samheang-Rany wants Rainsy dead for opening her crime against Piset Pilika.
Rainsy should not walk into this trap.
By the way. You should lear to write with good reasons and try to be a little educated, because Yuon spies are every where and when they read yours they say "What a stupidest Khmer it is"?

Sam Rainsy is a khmer patriot. He is in exile, because the Kangaroos court in Phnom-Penh , under the instruction of Hun Sen, a Youn’s Slave, indicted Sam Rainsy for a jail term of 20 years. This is in violation of the constitution of Cambodia established under the Paris Peace Agreement on October 23rd 1991 that provided immunity to all members of Parliament. He has no choice but stay abroad to continue fighting for freedom of Cambodia.
Sam Rainsy is the only Cambodian Leader who dares to challenge and criticize Ah Youn and it’s puppet Hun Sen for annexing Cambodia to Vietnam.
Hun Sen et al are the First degree of Vietnamese Slaves. Anybody following Hun Sen are Secondary degree of Vietnamese Slaves.
If Sam Rainsy obey orders from Hun Sen, he will automatically be the Secondary degree of Vietnamese Slaves.
We, Cambodian patriots, agreed with Sam Rainsy and respect him as our spoke person. We praise him for his courage and protection of Cambodian inalienable right for Sovereignty, territorial integrity and neutral as provided by the Paris Peace Agreement.
As for Hun Sen, the most important thing for him to do if he wanted to leave a good name in history and be a khmer patriot is to abolish or cancel Unequal Treaties with Vietnam since 1980 to date that reduced Cambodian Land and Maritime Territory for about 30,000.00 square Kilometers.

Peace in Cambodia depends entirely on Vietnam. If we think carefully, does Cambodia really have peace?

It is strange indeed but I think we should keep the fingers crossed as a sign that the CPP is reaching out to work with Khmer leaders. Sam Rainsy do not have to attend, he could send a representative to the anniversary. We must continue to observe their behavior, especially for the coming up national election to how much the CPP will change or reaching out with Khmer leaders in opposition parties. They could be come of age but we must continue to watch. It was a turn around for the NGOs laws being drafted, so it could be more to come.... but like I say; let's continue to watch their behavior.

The CPP people are ignorant people. They don't even know they are destroying their own nation and depriving their own people future. I feel sorry for them that they did not understand better for us all other than just for their families and their friends. It will take time before it gets better because it is a process to convince people from the old culture/old school to convert unless they are totally retarded.
