"Kolab Koh Keo" (Rose of Keo Island) by Inn Yeng
Mr Inn Yeng may not share Mr Sinn Sisamouth's golden voice, yet many of his songs have that surreal, dream-like sentimentality that transports listeners to another realm . . . whilst the lyrics, simple and unembellished, adds poignant/romantic texture and poetry to otherwise mundane vocabulary. Just as a great writer strings together a collection of choice words into a powerful, immaculate prose or narrative, a bona fide artist or poet is able to achieve likewise when projecting nuances of human emotions through their craft.

It's very accurate on your description of Mr. Inn Yeng songs. One of the many songs from him that I like is called "Kakasayean chegn chak seyma [Airplance's leaving the perimeter]. Thank you for sharing.
I like your comment, bora-the-hunk. keep it coming. Inn Yeng's voice is too monotonal to me, but his songs are of profund meaningfulness.
My apology. "Akasayean " is sung by Mr Sos Matt rather than Mr. Inn Yeng. Do a Youtube search on Akasayean will lead to the video that I uploaded. Thanks.

I let Khmer screw me; all Khmer officials, from top to bottom, screw Viet for free whether they be in Phnom Penh or on their TDY/Training/Visit in Vietnam (Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City etc...) They love Viet's food, they love Viet's ass...Viet is everywhere in Viet-Cambodia from farmer to technician, from nurse to doctor, from firefighter to engineer, from rubber plantation owner/worker to Hun Sen's political advisor and bodyguards including Angkor Wat's owner...You all name it and Viet is there...Khmer doesn't do squat nowadays...
Whether or not they surrender themselves to Viet, Khmer is now Viet (period.)
Hun Sen is just a dumb Viet-Khmer that can be disposed of anytime at just a blink of an eye!

i think every khmer singers are talented and unique in their own way. each of their songs are adorable. it think it's about the clarity of the khmer voice and singing out loud as hard as they can. i'm sure the one with the clearest voice wins like sin sisamouth and ros sereysothea for instance.
